  • TWHs are magnificent horses, with wonderful characters. It is just a shame that people abuse them to get ribbons and trophies with that horrendous "soring". TWHs move beautifully naturally and making them step higher is just sad. I wouldn't buy a TWH now because you cannot be sure if the breeders sore their horses - so I chose another breed. It should be the Walker community that puts a stop to this practice if they want respect from the general horse world.

  • My cousin went down to Cleveland , Tn a few years back and bought him a registered American Saddlebred. We had always rode TWH and he bought that American Saddlebred. That thing was a HOT HEADED FOOL! and was mean..He was almost impossible to shoe. He was a gelding and was as mean as any Stud I've ever been around...

  • i love the little foal @ 40 seconds in the video... what color would you call that?

  • that's probably a paint or a pinto probably a paint if he has white spots on his underbelly then he is a paint

  • @1skopec paints and pintos are actually the same thing and are only describing a horse that has spots of white. Paints/Pintos are described by their pattern and color. Tobiano, Overo, Splash, Tovero, Sabino. i.e. Buckskin Tobiano...Bay Tovero...Palomino Overo...Chestnut Sabino...etc.

  • @Dacaktty bullshit. Paint is a breed, pinto is anything spotted.

  • @TheBrainLick I am aware of that. I was explaining the fact that there are many different patterns of 'paint' and a different formation of white areas is not the difference between paint and pinto.

  • @TheBrainLick Paint is a COLOR...Just like Palomino is a color. A paint horse can be in ANY BREED!

  • @SteveGaines Pinto can be any bread Paint quarter horse & the spotted saddle horse .Sorry

  • @kennywayne1959 Man, I thought that too..Pinto was just a color and could be in any breed..but google APHA..seems they got their own thing going...Hey but I'm a FLAT SHOD WALKING HORSE MAN MYSELF! LOL.I love horses but always felt sorry for those people who rode Quarter Horses on those long trail rides..When i was riding a son of Triple Threat out of a Son's Delight Mare! what a Caddilac!

  • @SteveGaines You can reg any horse in the pinto ass , Pant horse ass like,s the TB & the quarter horse Not sure What all they will do But i think the book,s are not open for much more .Their are two spoted hore ass in tennessee.I live in murfreesboro were one is An south 10 miles is the other.I have walkers Too .I have had saddlebred as they are very hot to handle an a good one can be very mean. Saddlebred two cross Tennessee walker 3 cross morgan, tb, standerbred

  • @SteveGaines Exactly ,y sentiments ...word for word! I started with a 1/4 horse crossed mare & one trail ride she was down in her front feet (ferrier neglected to get here for weeks) Anyhow, I was offered to ride one of my friends TWHs and I immediately started searching for myself one & never rode that 1/4 horse again! True story....once a person rides a TWH, they'll be looking to own one too! Guaranteed! TN Walkers are the Cadillac of horses, when it comes to all day riding, for sure!

  • @TheBrainLick You are right PAINT HORSES must have at least one registered quarter horse member or one thoroughbred member in their registry....

  • 0:40 Lush colour!

  • Nice colts! If you look at some of the pictures you can see they have a nice backend.. Just my opinion!! :)

  • no disrespect, I would be more interested in how the horses walk , not color.
