Temp readings are always taken in the shade no ifs buts about it thats way its done, ive taken readings in sun that were over 58C in the sun plus more. Readings from the sun mean nothing n how hot it is temperature is always taken in the the shade dont matter where you are
I've been to Iraq in the summer and it's not really that hot. I was in Mosul last May and the temperature was around 30 C most of the time.
you're in the desert part where not even Iraqis dare to live, that's why the terrorists have bases there, they want a place as far away from civilization as possible.
@MrKra7as Hell south of there in East Diyala on the border in the oil fields it is hot as hells asshole. 126 was the temp there so there is no confusion.
dude, had some weeks in egypt...its not possible to get in the schwimming pool without getting ur feet cooked, only one chance :look 4 some wet spots and MOVE! as a child without scarf-skin its pure hell
@hogo1 lol then you go stand in the sun and let me know the difference in the shade :P Shade is not always readily available you know :D Thanks for the comment
@hogo1 well i would like to see you fucking move it. Sitting behind your computer talking shit. You wouldnt last to minutes out hear you fucking peice of shit
I'm just saying, If you want to show someone how hot it is, you have to take temperature in the correct way. Even on a mild 80 degree day the temperature of a sun exposed surface can get over 100.
@hogo1 Omfg crime of the century :O its in the sun :O what has the world come to when thermometer's are being placed in the sun. I'm just saying that in the sun it is 120 degrees i you'd like to see you come here and do a fucking patrol you would curl into a ball and cry you sad little fucknugget. Join the marines and come out and you can educate everyone on where thermometers should be placed OK
aren't the marines big on protocol and following the rules? Then they would appreciate the fact that to take exact temperatures and to know the effects on the human body, that the instrument to take temperature is used in the right way. That being said, all temperatures are taking with a thermometer out of direct sunlight.
There isn't a single official military weather report in which the temperature is taken in the sun, they take the air temp, UV index, solar incidence, and dew point, among others.
