Thank you for keeping these heroes alive, I must admit that seeing the KIA after many names saddened me...The legacy of the Greatest Generation must never be forgotten,
WTF who is the wanker that clicked on the dislike button, you ungrateful bastard,do u no wot theses men went through to give wankers like you a life, wot is there 2 dislike, the men of easy you r in our hearts and minds always
@Ps3Reasongdf1 not true. the men thought he died but after that episode his family members contacted saying he didn't die until 1968 I believe from Kiddny failure. He served in Korea and Taiwan.
on january 2nd 2011 Major Richard ( Dick) Winters died.
a great man who lead by example an inspiration for officers and men.
its a shame God needed him in heaven already, but i'm shore he's with the rest of E company and all the others of the 506th who where already there before him.
rest in peace Sir.
thank you and all the other American soldiers who came to my county Holland)and liberate us from the germans.
@mitsubishiman07 He was :P i wanted to comment it to but since all you guys already did. I know how annoying that can be. On my E Company people are commenting the same thing over and over because i made a stupid little mistake
Incredible story, the heroism of sacrifice, a lifelong friendship. fought on foreign countries. Today, Europe is different, but my country, waited much longer for freedom.
The men themselves say that although he was a bastard while they were training, they thank him, because the hell he put them through hardened them so and had them so well-trained that without him, they wouldn't have been able to do what they did. They respect him for that if for nothing else, so he belongs there.
@americaninfadel Sobel built Easy Company from the ground up. Most of the men hated him, but one and all agreed it was his hard discipline and training that got Easy Company through it's most trying days.
Nice tribute! Watching the miniseries Band of Brothers and seeing the young actors portray Easy Company is one thing, but seeing the photos of actual Easy Company men (with too many of them KIA) is a real "kick in the teeth." May God Bless all of them!
Awesome video! When is the next Screaming Eagle gettogether to happen? Thougha few decades short I was with 2-187th IN in Afghanistan and Iraq and would love to meet my heritage......now that I am older and out of the Army.
To bad I was deployed to Colombia.....hopefully next time!!! I would take my son who admires these heroes and is just beginning to understand their impact on our lives (he is 10)
I have watched the HBO Band of Brothers finally 3days ago after my dad pass me the DVD.Respect to the men from Easy Company.God bless every single one of you brave warriors.
Great tribute video. Thank you men of Easy and thank you to all the allied forces in WWII. You are the reason we are not speaking German or Japanese right now. It is amazing what a good job HBO did on casting. Capt. Sobel, Capt. Nixon, and Maj. Winters all looked amazingly similar to the actors who portrayed them in Band of Brothers. A lot of the enlisted men also looked a lot like the actors who portrayed them. Again, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice man realy nice. Great work. But you know which song would fit to it to? Arnhem vom the Medal of Honor Frontline OST. But BOB Theme ist allways nice. Keep going bro. Greetings from Germany
Excellent extended version of the original materpiece. Job well done. Hopefully, many will watch and enjoy this and see all the 'other' men who served with distinction in the 101st Airborne as a part of 2/506th - Easy Company.
Good Job.

Just 1 mistake:
Van Klinken got K.I.A. in Holland. He was shot when he crawled down a hedgegrow (or at least that's how Band of Brothers puts it).
