  • albert blithe died of his injuries in 1948

  • @Ps3Reasongdf1 not true. the men thought he died but after that episode his family members contacted saying he didn't die until 1968 I believe from Kiddny failure. He served in Korea and Taiwan.

  • I don't know if you want to add it but please add on the video Richard Winters passed away on january 2 2011

  • It hurts my heart thinking somebody actually clicked on the dislike button... :(

a great man who lead by example an inspiration for officers and men.

its a shame God needed him in heaven already, but i'm shore he's with the rest of E company and all the others of the 506th who where already there before him.

    rest in peace Sir.

thank you and all the other American soldiers who came to my county Holland)and liberate us from the germans.

  • @NaKampf Well said :)

  • It's possible. I just printed what I found on the net

  • Im pretty sure Van Klinken was KIA also. I believe he was killed in holland.

RIP all passed members of easy CO.

  • @mitsubishiman07 He was :P i wanted to comment it to but since all you guys already did. I know how annoying that can be. On my E Company people are commenting the same thing over and over because i made a stupid little mistake

  • Don't think so. When you look each up in the dictionary it says the same thing.

  • I thin you are correct

  • i read someplace shifty died

  • How many of the band of brothers are still alive? Can you give me a list of the names, thanks

  • so upsetting!!

  • Thank you so very much.

  • great job, well done! love it

  • lol lewis nixon on ve day look at all the wine like in movie

  • God Bless these men.

  • Incredible story, the heroism of sacrifice, a lifelong friendship. fought on foreign countries. Today, Europe is different, but my country, waited much longer for freedom.

  • Albert Blithe (K.I.A)

  • Why do they have to ruin it and show Sobel!

  • The men themselves say that although he was a bastard while they were training, they thank him, because the hell he put them through hardened them so and had them so well-trained that without him, they wouldn't have been able to do what they did. They respect him for that if for nothing else, so he belongs there.

  • @americaninfadel

Because he was ONE of them....

  • @americaninfadel Sobel built Easy Company from the ground up. Most of the men hated him, but one and all agreed it was his hard discipline and training that got Easy Company through it's most trying days.

  • Nice tribute! Watching the miniseries Band of Brothers and seeing the young actors portray Easy Company is one thing, but seeing the photos of actual Easy Company men (with too many of them KIA) is a real "kick in the teeth." May God Bless all of them!

  • Great Job man , great

  • what does K.I.A means??

  • @colin0622

I think K.I.A stands for Killed In Action?

  • @colin0622 killed in action

  • awsome!!!!

  • Awesome video! When is the next Screaming Eagle gettogether to happen? Thougha few decades short I was with 2-187th IN in Afghanistan and Iraq and would love to meet my heritage......now that I am older and out of the Army.

  • Easy just had their reunion back in November. There are not many left.

    Thank you for your service

I was with 101st back in 1962. The closest we came to combat was Cuba.

  • To bad I was deployed to Colombia.....hopefully next time!!! I would take my son who admires these heroes and is just beginning to understand their impact on our lives (he is 10)

  • I was also in 2-187th, from 2000-20003, Alphatraz, what company where you in?

  • Sorry for the late response...serving in a different capacity now... was the S-2 from 2001-2003 ;)

  • Great vid mate 5/5

Its a shame all the boys of easy company boys couldnt come home alive. They were the best of the best, and were a company of heroes.

  • I also think they were that best of the best. There are only about 33 of them left

  • nice work

i cant find anything about Lt.Peacock.

  • I have watched the HBO Band of Brothers finally 3days ago after my dad pass me the DVD.Respect to the men from Easy Company.God bless every single one of you brave warriors.

    Vies from Singapore

  • Thanks for your comment. I'll pass it on to Hank Zimmerman E/506th

  • Great tribute video. Thank you men of Easy and thank you to all the allied forces in WWII. You are the reason we are not speaking German or Japanese right now. It is amazing what a good job HBO did on casting. Capt. Sobel, Capt. Nixon, and Maj. Winters all looked amazingly similar to the actors who portrayed them in Band of Brothers. A lot of the enlisted men also looked a lot like the actors who portrayed them. Again, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • woow thats awesome... almost cry

  • Fantastic job, touches a nerve!

  • As good a job as HBO did,it's a shame they couldn't all be mentioned.Excellent video and fitting tribute, well done.

  • Thank you

  • Just 1 mistake:

Van Klinken got K.I.A. in Holland. He was shot when he crawled down a hedgegrow (or at least that's how Band of Brothers puts it).

  • Wonderful pictorial, kelbrit...Bravo!!

  • Thanks

  • Air fucking borne! All The Way!

  • good video

  • r.i.p shifty

and all the men of easy company

  • the part where ike is talking to the paratroopers. Those paratroopers were of the 502nd pir (not criticizing just saying)

    5 stars fantastic video

  • Brilliant! To see their actual faces is priceless. Rest in Peace.

  • God bless you sir for this tribute.

  • That was great.

  • Fantastic

  • Bergesgarden....LOL try Berchtesgaden.

  • Glad I could help.

BTW There is a new book out called

We Who Are Alive and Remain: Untold Stories from the Band of Brothers (Hardcover) It's about the guys in Easy who are still alive
