  • I'm trying to learn machining, I've got an XLO mill and a 12x36 Chinese lathe. I didn't know they made inserts like that for sharpers, or that you could machine something that hard.

    Out of the large number of machine vids I watch on youtube, this one stands apart, I really like how you opened the access panels for us to have a look. Subscribed to your channel..

    Where abouts in the Middle East do you work?

    HRC is a reference to the hardness of the material......Hardness Rockwell, "C" Scale.

    It equates to around 700-800mpa.

  • Unfortunately it's only the 6". I wish I had an 8".
