@purplekitty70 I forget the name of the episode but it was a two parter which ran either the last two episodes of season two or (more likely) the last epiosde of season two and first of season three. It led to Ryan leaving and Johnny coming in and taking his place in the third and final season.

No; as a matter of fact, the series was originally to be entitled "The 13th Hour".

My guess is that the producers decided to cash in on the notoriety of the infamous horror series, so it was decided to christen the show "Friday the 13th: The Series" instead.

Fairly moronic, in my opinion, but it's one of my favorite series, nonetheless.
