It really disappoints me that Scouts never could get the rights for ESOM. The whole reason the original song was made was to remember 9/11 and to celebrate freedom and all that. If the big wigs in the music industry would have taken just 10 minutes of their time to watch the Scouts show...they would of realized the importance of it and how much people loved it. Is a couple $ really that big of deal? C'mon man!

One of my favorite parts from watching Quarter Finals at the theatre was at the end of Vanguard's show (7:00) when it showed the man running into the gate, where the band that was performing next was. They were looking at him like "Dude, wth are you doing over here?"

I get seriously emotional with the Phantom and Scouts Shows. I don't particularly have a favorite as usually it goes by who has my favorite show of the year. Like, last year I thought Blue Devils had some crazy awesome ideas with the mirrors but this year I just didn't get anything memorable from their show.

BD Haters never get old, because we have a few standing shout sections doesn't mean that all we do is stand and play look at the later half of the show before the jazz movement in a song called "Women"..starts with with a mello and euph solo.we move our asses for a good 2-3 min straight.,I (recent BD Alumni) will be the first to admit that our drill might not be the hardest (Cavies, sometimes Cadets) or our horn book might not be the most technical ( Crown) but we are challenged like none other.

This show was designed not just for 9/11 but what our staff experienced while they were in New York on that very day, at the moment the towers fell. I'm sorry, this video is good, but I don't think you did a good job including all the corps evenly. Like, you pretty much forgot Boston, Blu Devils, Blue Knights Cavies, and SCV. The rest is just Madison, Phantom and Bluecoats.

this year is one of those years that you cant argue with the turnout.

The top 3: Cadets were amazing not suprised they won, blue devils music was great and they performed it really well, the cavs @2:37 thats all i need to say haha. Regiment usually i would say they should get higher but the Crown was pretty awesome too... SCV blew me out of the water.. Blue Coats though im a little disapointed, i love the blue coats but their show wasnt that great. thank god the Spirit of Atlana was in finals!

Springcube did you even march?....if you think the only good thing about Blue Devils is the brass section, you're sadly mistaken. Took Percussion in 09, brass in 10 and Colorguard every year since 08. I was there since 09 and just aged out with this show....However, thanks for posting this TonylovesDCI it's nice to go back and re-live the end of my drum corps career :) ( would'ev been nice to see more of us out there though) but it's cool haha

One corps in particular was a big disappointment to me. I think we all know who that is. You know... the one corps every one thought was gonna change the show even a little bit. The show that wasn't going anywhere. The only corps with music that was boring and only two songs, if not one, they played were recognizable. If i asked someone to hum a part of their show that wasn't one of the two songs, they couldn't. Reply and tell me which corps you think im talking about.
