  • I dont understand. He travelled millons and millons of kilometres just to find a big "S" grabbed in the stone and then escape like a rat?

At least he should have landed and look for a book or something related to Kripton. That is why in the movie superman doesnt explain anything about his journey.

  • they should have kept this part in the movie...Damn i got such a chill from watching it...and when he discovered the cracked version of the House of El...epic.

  • How did they delete this scene from the movie? What retards.

  • Wow, these scenes are really good!

I wonder why in the end they decided to cut it?

  • Wow I never even knew they had a deleted scene from the movie this is way better than the one they opened the movie with I wonder why they had it deleted?

  • These days comic book movies are a dime a dozen. ANYTHING more from Supes' vast anthology is greatly appreciated by fans. Being the so-so movie that "Superman Returns" is, and taking into consideration the opinions of average movie-goers, this scene could not have hurt the film. I think it should have been included in theatrical release.

  • @TheDanielcruzsr It was set up to be included on the Blue Ray, to force people to upgrade from DVD. A lot like Terminator 4. No special features on the DVD, just the BR

  • Bryan Singer is an idiot! He's the Ang Lee (The Hulk) of DC Comics.

  • THIS GOT CUT! WTF?! THIS IS EXACTLY THE TYPE OF THING THE FILM WAS MISSING! ALINE STUFF! FUck all that lois lane love story shit.

  • this would have given the title some sense! even just the words at the start give a better story shape as other wise the way it was released left me thinkin where the frig did he return from

  • I agree that this should have been in the film. This would have made the film a lot more exciting.

  • this scene sucks so bad. What a shame this movie was. I re-edited it myself, cutting half an hour out.. it's more watchable but still garbage. All the wrong people are involved, From Routh To the writers... let's hope Goyer can resurrect this limitless franchise...

  • Thanks for posting. The scene re-enforces the movie's very stupid premise: that Kal-El would leave earth and return to Krypton. It doesn't make any sense, especially the time line. To travel from one galaxy to another and back and only 5 years has past? What happened to "I will have been dead for many thousands of your earth years?" The entire movie was terrible.

  • @jrvenice1999 Physics! So why is Kal-el not over a thousand years old and dead upon arrival? He was an infant when he left Krypton and is roughly five years old when the Kents find him Let's do the math.........read a little about Einstein's theories and then you'll see why. The movie was excellent by the way!

  • I'm not sure who's idea it was to cut all of this (Singer's I guess), but damn that was stupid.

  • OH MY GOD WHY SINGER WHY!!!!!!!!! IF YOUHAD PUT HIS SCENE IN ..SUPERMAN RETURNS WOULD HAVE BLOWN THE BOX OFFICE SKY HIGH!!!!!!!

  • THE BEST SCENE OF SUPERMAN RETURNS MOVIE, CONGRATULATIONS! ARGO CITY, THE LAST REMNANT OF KRYPTONIAN CIVILIZATION, WAS IN FAR POINT DISTANCE OF SPACE KRYPTONIAN, THE ASTRONOMERS OF EARTH WERE CERTAINS, ARGO CITY WAS LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWEST SECTOR, OF 160-MILES DISTANCE WHERE WAS THE STARSHIP CRYSTALLINE OF KAL-EL,THE LOST CITY WAS NEXT LITTLE RED STAR.

  • Nice!

  • that explains his trip back to Earth alot more darn you Singer

  • This is how Superman Returns SHOULD have started.

    Great job on the edit!!
