hmmm 1-1.5 week, I already had all the parts for the level so putting the level together was easy.
I think of my levels in parts and find ways to bring those parts/gadgets into finished level. Kind of like doing LEGO, you make small portions and bring them all together at the end.
LOVE the key system, the farting room (made me laugh irl), the level design itself, and so many of the features really! and at 6:40 was that a cake? :P
I still think the sensors need a larger radius, because if I jump into a sensor, inertia carries me forward and out of the radius. And I like pistons better... if you set min. length to 0, they look invisible, so it'd make it look like the fairy actually flies.
My PS3 blu-drive went literally the day before BLP came out. I was playing too much GTAIV. Luckily it was still under warranty. Now I have LBP here just waiting to be played.
It's just a blank level, no background used, most of the stuff is positions by using dark material to keep the objects in place, lots of photoshop, draft sketching and using PS Eye to import image and pasting them on flat cardboard piece and cutting them out using edge tools. Check 2nd part to see the actual level without the dark/night effect.

all the ones that make characters drop down. halfway through dialogue they get winched back up. and I read extremely fast.

Another cool thing I noticed is the Fog Color, can do pretty cool effects with that one for background color/designing

mmm just used white clothes with the angels ring?? and used butterfly wings with white stickers on them to make angel wings.
