The Hulk jsut get's madder and Strogner as the fight goes on. the madder he gets the stronger he get's. Which is why in World War Hulk he could stand up to the power of Black Bolt's Voice. The strongest Marvel characters are the cosmic entities, like the Living Tribunal and Galactus.
But in terms of physical strenght,the strongest characters are Juggernaut,Hulk,The Thing,Colossus and Blob.(If we don't take Apocalipse,Gladiator,Thor and Hercules in count,which are gods or very old characters).
This video isn't showing it all, in fact they fight again and somehow they get a "tie", but well Hulk is still very strong.

Most in the the Marvel U would be hard-pressed to beat him on pure strength. If you're feeling nerdy enough look up the Champion of the Universe. Giving THAT character the Power Gem will let him go H2H with any Hulk.

Honest question: Hulk and thing have battled since the 60's. Has the thing EVER won or come close to winning? IIRC, even when the thing was powered up by a 2nd cosmic ray dose, he still lost. (I won't count the Ultimate FF/marvel zombie clash)

Again this is exactly what I'm talking about. Anyone who knows ANYTHING knows Onslaught would completely anihilate Batman. But in Crossover's that means nothing, the outcomes are fan voted. Like Supes vs. Hulk, Hulk owned Sentry, who has all of Superman's power and more, and he still got owned by Hulk, yet in a crossover Superman won. It makes no sense. This is why I hate crossovers.

Just comparing the individual powers Hulk would smash everyone on the F4, only challenge could be Susan and only if she really intended to kill him by generating forcefields in his brain/heart for example.
They win most of their battles via stategy (by Mr. Fantastic, smartest man on Marvel Earth) and team-play.
Thing was never designed to be a solo fighter.
(on the other hand a full powered Franklin or Valeria could take out Hulk easily)
