Actually, the Dark World is a land which Ganon was sealed in before he corrupted it with his evil magic. The whole plot is essentially to prevent Ganon from returning to Hyrule. Seriously, you should play A Link to the Past.
You don't get too many comments, it seems. It appears that before too long, though, all the extenders start getting requests at a mile a minute, so keep your eyes open.
