I wanted to make a comment/ clarification about Christianity to clear up a few misconceptions. To put it simply, God is love and He is perfect. Needtobreathe is a Christian band all the cite members profess faith in Christ, I was able to meet them when they played at liberty university. Granted they are definitely on the mire liberal side and are considered more "worldly" than most of their faith, but they started as a Christian band trying to play in the secular market, hence touring with Taylor swift.

If I should mention something I've understood when reading the Bible, it's that you should accept and respect other people. There aren't many of those. One example is gay people. There are a lot of Christians who don't like them, and basically think they should die. That's against the will of their God, and it's also not respecting other people. It's abuse of power. Also, how could God create something that's wrong?

God created everything. If being gay is wrong, that means God made a mistake somewhere. But that is impossible, since God can't be wrong. Saying that being gay is wrong is not trusting Christianity. Then again, I think most people are Christian just out of tradition. I'm personally an atheist, but I find Christianity to be a good religion and a good lifestyle. However, I don't believe in God, so that's that.

I am sorry if anyone has been offended. I think it is important to realize that religion is a manmade concept and further that man is not perfect. We all have our different temptations and sins that we deal with and struggle with throughout our lives. It is not that there is anything wrong with people that are gay, but it is the act of homosexuality that is a sin. If we accept Christ and His sacrifice, we are absolved of our sin. Additionally, He commands us to love and care for all others.
