I definitely agree with u on da Bose headphones , i have the same one like u plus i saw a video review of the Ae2 headphones on CNET.com and they say with the Dre's u don't get clear crisp highs and lows but u do get that with the Bose and the base is more controlled , the only thing they say they liked about Dre's was the design and check out the video review for the Bose Ae2 on Cnet.com when u go to the website in the search box on the right type Bose AE2 review and check it out .

Beats are mainstream crap made specifically for bass. Bose on the other hand has crisp clean sound made for rock and not necessarily rap.

beats seem to be more looks than sound. I've tried a ton, since pretty much everyone has them, but they seem to be really muddy and nowhere near as crisp as any bose or sennheisers.

Thanks, this really helps! Comfort vs Style. Beats look really sharp, but Bose's are sooo comfortable which is important when spending time in the gym. Both have their unique sound quality, but both are good. I'm going for a pair of Bose's tomorrow. : )

the AE series is so stupidly comfortable that you won't even realize you're wearing them after 8 hours of use. I use the AE2s at work all day with 0 issues. Yes there are better sounding headsets for the price but comfort should really be a factor when buying a headset....it's not all about how good it sounds, and these don't sound bad at all!

@ApostolicGodsChild Yup, he's right. I got the Bose AE2 since around 2 years, and they still work like on the first day. Amazing sound, excellent Bass, crystal clear Highs, and a good Balance of Highs and Basses. I can only recommend them too, amazing sound a good value for money.

@noellet90 You have no idea how many times ive been called adorable, lol. Im quite up in age though. They are a little bulky but not as bulky as the beats studios if you ever tried those on. The Quiet Comfort 15 or 3 should be great for your head size but they are the best ones so they are pretty expensive ranging from $250-350.

i got the beats studio the blue and having beats is a problem in nyc. People are fighting people for them. The new studio is built better and I think sound better. Im going to get the bose qc 15 as my 2nd headphones.

I personally prefer the beats by dr. Dre studios because of the exquisite bass, along with crisp lows mids, and highs. However i respect your fairness to the beats in the video and not just saying " oh yeah the beats suck ass dont get them" good job.

I have tested both , i got the bose ones and sound is clear. But there is no freaking bass!!! So i returned them. Solos sounds more dynamic and really good bass. I have sennheiser px-100ii and its better much than the bose and equal sound quality/bass to solos. So before you buy any of them try px100 or px200..

Great review man. I had very high expectations for the beats before i tried them out and was very dissapointed in their performance. The bass was good but vocals and instrumentals were very muddy and i wanted to break them because of how dissapointed i was with them. The bose AE2's are much cleaner and crisper allowing for a much more detailed listening experience. Beats look way better and it is cool to say u have them but when u want to get the most out of ur music, bose is the way to go
