  • Honestly, if you've watched this game and you've no idea who Duncan was at that time, you would have thought that it was his 10th year.

  • The historic day when the greatest power forward of all time entered the beautiful game of basketball.

  • Probably the greatest player that nobody really "talks" about lol.

  • Hey hatred!!!! :))

    FUCK OFF

  • The start of a legend, Timmy is my hero!

  • Looks exactly the fucking same...

  • north carolina good morning raise up

  • Duncan ain't fun to watch, but he does produce really good and CONSISTENT results. That is what is good about him, efficient and consistent player who gets results on a regular basis.

  • If the Spurs sanbagged to get Duncan, they did a poor job. They only had the 3rd worst record. The odds of getting the pick were against them. Guess it was the team with the worst record who actually sandbagged. Too bad it didn't work out for them.

Oh, yeah, and by the way, Robinson's back injury that kept him out that season plagued him the rest of his career. That and a broken foot seems like a legit reason not to play.

  • wow, full repertoire on his debut night

  • Tim Duncan is just a class act on and off the court.

  • he's 6'11

  • The Spurs threw almost every single game the season before just to get him....pathetic.

  • @Rjackman84 STOP CRYING! This isn't the NFL...you can't just lose your way to the first pick...look at NJ.

  • ESPN and other magazines considered the Spurs after they drafted Duncan the top dynasty in ALL of sports.

Dominating like no team really has before for so long.

  • The start of greatness, and a Dynasty!

  • Tim duncan is more than just numbers...

  • the best pf ever!

  • now for real how many moves can this man do to score? shit 100 give or take 5?

  • what i like abouut tim duncan is hes not flashy.. he just does the basics and gets the ball in the basket, no questions asked.

  • Tim Duncan: What a guy! He's humble even though he has achieved alot

  • Comment removed

  • something tells me u live a sad and pathetic life

  • duncan is one of the best nba players when he was in his prime time

  • He's one of the best even today. He's still in the Top 10 of the MVP race. Goes to show he hasn't lost a step, but rather has improved on other facets like spacing and passing, and most of all leadership.

  • and come playoff time you could argue he is the best

  • ehhh ya i understand hes on the Top 10 for the R2MVP, but i dont think he's that good at all...i loved tim duncan when he was young D: ... now hes not really the big star for the Spurs...now its Tony Parker...But i still love Tim Duncan and happy thats hes an allstar

  • he is a future hall of famer

  • But with out Tim Duncan Tony wouldn't be what he is today

  • that makes no sense whatsoever, iv watched every spurs game since i was 12, Tony Parker can create his own shot anytime and is unstoppable, and on any other team he would be the number one option and star. so please do some actual LOGIC before you post.

  • Do some logic?

  • he is averaging more than 20 points and 10 rebounds this season, he is the biggest star on the Spurs, and the best PF of all time.

  • that really is a greatness. look at his statistic troughout his 12-year nba career. nobody has played on such constant high level as he does. and in the playoffs he raises his level of playing even higher. love you tim:)

  • what was his stat line?

  • your moms over rated..Duncan is just good.

  • @gg77satx lol. one of the best comeback i've read

  • @gg77satx good? he's just the best..in his role ever...in this planet the 3rd or 4th ever

  • ovverated carreer? thats why he has 4 championships 3 time finals MVP 2 time leauge MVP one of the classiest players in the NBA averages career 24 PPG your what you call a stupid fuck dumbass who dosent know shit go do your mom dumbass

  • Don't forget bronze medalist, rookie of the year, All-NBA team every season he's been in the league, all-defensive, and so on and so on

  • Hes a power forward

  • @RHS42 He was named Player of the Decade by Sports Illustrated and has 4 championships, and you're calling him overrated.

  • great vid of one of the greatest.
