Dennis Kucinich wants to give you all free health care, no more war, the end of Nafta, and the rule of law when it comes to your rights. Please check the facts, Dennis has a proven record and will help you get what you want. The newspapers and magazines are not telling you there is a candidate that has stood up for these very things you are asking for. Kucinich has already begun work on these issues.
because I am totally dependent on the government and want them to take care of me and I am too brain dead to realize that my taxes will rise significantly which will offset any health cares costs-not to mention what his policies will do the quality of health without incentive of any kind for health professionals. Also, I have no clue why or how Mr. Edwards policies will help lower the cost of living in any way, but he says so- so it is!
Because I am totally dependent on the gov't because of reverse Robin Hood tax policies & too brain dead to realize my taxes are so high because everything in the gov't is paid for by the middle class while the rich get more Bush tax cuts. Because policies that deal with quality of health don't mean shit to millions of uninsured who can't afford to visit doctors like my mom who is a nurse IN THE health profession. Because health care for everyone is more important than shareholder's being rich.
I would have to say i havent been an Edwards supported but after seeing him in the debates, i think he is prob the best person to be President .Not because of his slick answers to the questions but- his demeanor and cool headedness! Also seems to be the most honest!!
Great political ad, in my opinion. I'm trusting that the voters in New Hampshire and Iowa -- who do seem to take seriously the responsibility that comes with their early voting roles -- are going to recognize truth and character when they see it up close. EDWARDS ALL THE WAY!!!
Michael Petruzello is a lobbyist, registered foreign agent and the manager of Qorvis Communications. That firm was hired by Saudi Arabia on November 14, 2001 (just 2 months after 9-11) to counter criticism of the Arab kingdom.
health care is going to be a big tax no one tells u that it is kinda like paying for insurance for everyone and taking money out of your wallet. and half those people don't take health care because someone else in there family has it so they don't take it so they get more money in there paycheck
i wish i could go to new Hampshire and help , i really wish i could but i got to go to work and help pay down my debt now before i go into debt for college. I'm taking responsibility for my life, however if I was living by myself I would be in poverty right now.
Omg... this video just got to me. I don't know why it did more than most... This election is too important... I'm terrified for another 8 years of lies, deficit, war, death and poverty. It's easy to say life would be better with a Democrat president again, god knows i've said it enough. But what I'm most scared of is that there will be no noticable change. Please, Sen. Edwards, be the change we desperately need.
I looked at his health care plan, and, though I hate to say this, it is silly and naive. It ignores the real health care problems. It will not solve what happens when you lose your job because you are sick, and then have no health care. And it will not do anything about the fact that the companies will not cover you when you need it.
well it's a good first step. the insurance companies have tremendous lobby power, you just can't do many things right away, that's the problem (remember what they did to the Hellary-plan at the time...)
I look at it differently. I see it as an excuse not to act. The difference between that time and now is that now there is a wide spread distrust, and even a hatred of the insurance companies. Also, the current canidates have the money to counter the potential campaigns, to prepare people for them, and to fight them. The big problem (one of them) with the Dems is that they think it is O.K. to compromise on anything and everything.
the problem is that the people are excluded from the lawmaking process, lobbyist are working behind the scenes and are supported by the (corporate) mainstream media, so that's how it works... it doesn't matter how big is the public support anyway.
Just think of the war in Iraq, 70+ % are against it, so what? It continues and the Dems have voted to fund it...
Yes, but Edwards plan will continue this cycle, not stop it. If we want to kick out the lobbyists, here is the solution: All campaigns of all sorts are funded equally by the federal government. Stations are also required to give equal airtime to any canidate that requests it. Also: Any gifts of any sort from lobbyists are bribery, and illegal. etc....
You are muistken if you think that all campains are federaly funded. Station are not required to give any air time if the cnadidate cannot afford it.
Butyou are right about this: Contributuions from lobbyists are bribery.. John Edwards has never ver taken a penny from a lobbyist! So SOME of your facts are corrct but not all! You seem like someone who care so I Thought you might like to know that.
That is not the current situation, it is the solution to the current situation. And contributions from lobbyists are not LEGALLY bribery. The things I listed are things I think should be law, in order to throw out the lobbyists. Just to clarify.
I admit, after doing some research on both, the choices don't seem so clear to me. In the end, it comes down to who actually has any kind of plan. Edwards does, Obama doesn't.
Edwards is the only one of the big three Democrats who is actually talking about issues. Hillary is coasting on her lead so she won't say anything -- or worse, she says two things at once; while Obama just says, "We need to unite this country." (Great. Now tell us how.)
Vote Edwards! He's got the best chance in the general election!
Wrong with what? That Robin Hood is running for president?:)
I'm glad that Edwards talks like that (almost like Kucinich), he can actually defeat Hellary and Obama, that's the difference... I support everybody who's against war and corporate welfare, because it destroys the planet.
I misinterpreted, sorry. It sounded like you were saying it in a negative way. I have now done my research, and pretty much the only difference between Edwards and Obama is that Edwards has a better aproach to solving the rich/poor gap.
it looks like the understanding of the economy is too difficult for your brainless fucking head. It's not that easy, ok? Somebody actually has to do something not only expect "help" from the government.
And fuck you you lying neocn fundie piece of lang dung. You think like all neocons borrow and spend borrow and spend send the bill to the next10 generations. I know enough about economics to know you can't spend 2 trillion dollars on a needless war and not ask the rich to pay their fair share. We've damn near spent more money than all of ww2 and no end in sight yet the tax cuts stay in place. I'm a democrat that believes in paygo not borrow go.
you're a fucking brainless idiot. the neocon ideology that you've mentioned is irrelevant to this.
they invented the "war on terror" but pumping money out of it through blackwaters and halliburtons is pretty much the speciality of this particular government.
Though I already wrote here that I'm against war and unjust corporate welfare based on corruption. maybe you just can't read well (long term effect of Agent Orange? who knows..)
lol, calling me names won't help your case fucking brainless parasite.
I said earlier this too: "I support _everybody_ who's against war and corporate welfare..."
Paul is the most consistent in these issues and btw he's THE fiscal conservative, Edwards voted for the war actually but has "changed" since then, and there's Kucinich who has very weak support but brainless leeches like you should like him too.
So you better shut the fuck up and wait for your fucking social aid.
And what the hell are you a ditch digger? You certainly seem to have the mentality for it or do you work fast food? I've got mine pal. Now go to bed and take your sedative and dream of your loser.

@annefrank
his healthcare plan will feed the insurance companies pretty much, I don't think that's the best plan, though it's one reasonable solution.
I think you should watch this video of Kucinich too /watch?v=r-3DI7_7V8M
(I hope that at some point Edwards and Kucinich will cooperate!)
