It's a shame how many of your citizens don't understand how important keeping large chunks of the environment unspoiled is. Can we not put politics aside for a second and just be amazed how blessed we are to live in such an amazing country that has given so much to her people? The only people we should think about, when we watch this, are the thousands of soldiers that have died under that flag, protecting the man next to them, all politics aside. It's a shame how many of your citizens don't understand how important keeping large chunks of the environment unspoiled is. I hear some of your citizens calling for corporations to be allowed to rape and pillage the landscape freely, it's insane. If there are no beautiful places for your citizens to travel to and take in and experience, that love for country will not build up in them. It should be a privilege for a company to do business in the United States, only the companies who operate on a fair, decent level should be allowed to do business in the States. This could be all part of the problem. I think we should remember, Republican or Democrat that we really are one nation under God. I'm not a religious person but I am a faithful person. If you look at our flag and it's history and symbolism there is no way that you can deny that there is a God. And I think when it is all said and done, all of us just want the same thing: What is guaranteed US by the Constitution. We may just not know the right way to get there sometimes.

Why would they do business here if they are allowed to get away with that? What you do is immediately declare that no company who violates human rights in such a way for profit can do ANY business in the US any longer. See how quickly they run back. The banks lobbied hard to ease restrictions that would allow them their cash grab, they knew right from the get go what was going to happen and rode it into record profits on the backs of every citizen, almost taking the entire country under. @MarcusErection no Sir, Carter started this business of loaning money to people who could not afford a home, he lowered the standards for buying a home, then clinton came along and made the bank and loan companies do more loaning because everybody need a house. they were loaning money to people who had no jobs, no down payment, and could live in the house for a year with no payments. and that is just wha they did. so you see where that got us.
