there is a 'plip plop plip pooey' type sound that runs with the 808, it is a tom sound that is really squelched out, my friend back in summer of 84 had a red octagon pad with some knobs on it, i think a simmons tom pad that made this sound but i dont know if it is an SD8 or SV? anyhow, I am typing this and remembering before i was a producer, i was a DJ in early 80's and this is the kind of song that could come on 12 inch vinyl random from the record pool, very cool composition bro!

i like this for a lot of reasons, first the track jam is cool, nuff said. then, it is really cool to see quadraschultz rocking this beat in real-time and on the actual hardware which really shows a labor of Love - trust me i know how committed you got to be to work to own this vintage gear, i like the incorporation of the korg kaoss - relieved i own the same one to :)

whats tight are the random blips and ambient trip noises, what i want to know is on the song planet rock by soulsonic force ...

I love that the modular sequencer fits the stock Simmons drum case. Did you have to do any modding, or add another power supply, or does it work right out of the box so to speak?
