Sorry, but she is playing a lot of notes that do not fit with the relatively simple changes of this song. She is in WAY over her head. She can kinda play, doesn't totally suck, but she is playing with masters here. Come on, give me a break. Competent? Okay, but great, NO.

The trumpet playing is low level

The trumpet playing is NOT low level: she's playing with George Coleman and Slide Hampton, both master musicians. The first video clip (Maiden Voyage) doesn't allow you to hear the chord changes properly, then it fades. The second clip (All Blues) is better in terms of hearing the changes, but again it is a fragment. Saskia is a great trumpeter.
