@Benubenusus Props for a considered reply. I thought that Bruce/Hulk were the result of Banner's mental disorders, from his abusive father. It's all Bruce, just two extremes brought on by illness. If that were true, they couldn't be separated. Also- the Hulk is supposed to be pure rage. But notice how when he goes to that other planet he seems sort of fused with Banner (the warbound series). I took that to be confirmation of them being the same person. Is there some other evidence?

@transfan1988 Nope. Marvel thing has always been to retrocon things as they want one shared history. The wantnew versions of character they make new line like Marvel 2099 or Ultimate. DC been the one more favorable to reboot. Honestly I think they should have switched in this case. DC instead of soft booting launches all new Earth Beta Series where all the characters are new and 20 something again with no prior canon making a Ultimate verse of their own so they can go new directions.

Ok, guys, they've done this! John Byrne did this in the 80's. Peter David did it for awhile during the Heroes Reborn story arch in the 90's.

I'll give you some credit for one thing, it looks like you are going back to Hulk's atomic age Frankenstein roots, with Banner as the villain and Hulk as a tortured hero. That could be good. Having Marc Silvestri drawing is good. So I will read the first couple of issues.

But if you mess up, I'm going back to my Peter David alter.
