@ThePistlwhipr Methinks he only knows her from FF Dissidia, where her character is more akin to the now stereotyped "helpless" character. It didn't help they gave her voice acting something to how Aerith is presented in Kingdom Hearts, Crisis Core, and Advent Children. She does show signs of being hesitant in many cases, but seeing her near the game of the game, where she gets that resolve, the cumulation of her experiences and efforts to fruition! A shame most FF fans won't see this.

@yuffie24neddea24 You might wanna check out a ps1 emulator program called ePSXe. It will enable you to play ff9 on your pc. Should be able to play ff6 this way too. Hope this helps.

I was playing yesterday this game on Wii (yes, that's the only way I can play FFVI...) and this song was playing. Then, my mother came into the room and sat next to me. After a minute she said: "What a beautiful tune...". Today she said when I was playing it again: "That's the song I like so much, isn't it?". When someone that hasn't played the game says that the music is great it means that the soundtrack is not just an accesory. It makes art itself. Nobuo-sensei is a master at that.

@GraysonPeddie Every character has a theme song of their own. Terra, being (somewhat) the main character in FF VI, gets to have her theme song as the overworld map theme as well. I must tell you though, that after a particular moment in the game, things will change drastically and so will the world map theme....But I won't spoil anything :) Enjoy this beautiful game.

(SPOILER) @FaithlessMr I know every character has a theme song and with Terra, I thought she gets a theme song when Terra wakes up in elder's house after being controlled by MagiTech soldiers and during the ruins when she couldn't fight. For almost every whole note per measure (4 beats per measure for the basics), it has the musical nodes of "E1 F1 E1 F1 A1 E1 A1 E1 C2 G1 F1(half) D1(half) A1" and that's as far as I remember off the top of my head.

I played almost the entire game until I get to the Kefka's tower, which I still have a lot of level grinding to do in the GBA version of FFVI. When you first put the game in and you go through this opening scene, you just get this great feeling like you're in for an adventure. The music is so appropriate. After I finished the game I used to watch the opening scene to just to relive the entire game by listening to this song. It's like the Imperial March for the Final Fantasy series, in my opinion.

This song is my most favorite song from the FF series by far. It's filled with so much emotion, even it's SNES original had that power to it. It's inspiring even. I love that this song is the overworld map bgm(before the world of ruin). I used to turn the game on and go to the overworld JUST so I can hear this awesome music.
