okay, everyone who wants the people mover back... the whole concept was supposed to be the travel method of the future, maybe in the 70's that was futuristic, but now its just outdated... I want you to guess what the only ride at disney world is where you can guarantee to walk onto every time? the people mover... its slow and boring...
People Mover makes more sense because the rocket rods is only for adult but the people mover is for every one. I like the Transit Authority at WDW with a top less train and a patio Covered tracks so I hope they do the same in Disneyland California when they bring it back, I also like the tunnels whare they got the Movie screen on both side when your going through, its was Asom I miss that one in Disneyland.

Not entirely accurate, but still pretty good. This is QUITE the attraction to replicate, because there's nothing in the game that can create what it once was. I'll say good job.

It closed down because of the penny-pinching devil also known as Paul Pressler, who didn't want to spend the money on fixing it. The problem was that the track was built for the slow PeopleMover, not a fast ride, so it needed banked turns and other things.
I was 7 when I went on this ride and all I remember is the Super Long line that seamed like it went on forever! The Ride was not worth it and had an annoying noise! A Ride that was a cool concept but was a really dumb ride on Disney's Part
The ride had several problems: Track was for slow PM, not fast RR, and the computer fried a lot controlling all the speed ups and slow downs of every vehicle. Like beetledude said, it closed because of the pennypinching guy who went cheap on this. The one time I rode it, it was a blast!
Not bad...not bad. You're probably the first one to attempt a Rocket Rods recreation and actually filming it. Although there was some mistakes, such as the speed was too fast, it was unique.
Great recreation beatledude64. Brought back nice memories of a ride long dead and buried. It was very popular in it's short run.
