@SladkaPritomnost Birds don't fly into branches do they? Birds aren't that stupid that they will just fly into solid objects otherwise they would be extinct already becuase they couldn't navigate through the tree's. Your comment is lazy and an obvious attempt to spread misinformation, either that or you are trumeting views you saw elsewhere.
@SladkaPritomnost The turbine, that you had shown, is a horizontal axis type and, if large enough, are dangerous to birds, because ends of long blades are making big circles around at great speed and literally appears to birds from nowhere in very short time. Vertical axis turbine are much less dangerous. It's also rotating at great speed, but without any "appearance from nowhere".
@SladkaPritomnost I think you're right. Every building should be equipped in small wind turbine connected to network. And power stations will not be needed anymore.
Vertical turbines don't hit as good an RPM as same sized horizontal turbines. Ever see a wind farm of these?. Click here on my channel name here or search - WindEnergy7 -. Have a look at the RoofMill™ invention, it's proven all over the United States and installed from Hawaii to Massachusetts. There's already installations in Canada and Europe.
@RooftopWind You points are considered,and are invalid.
You ever see a HAWT in an urban environment? There loud.
With HAWT you have WAY more bird and Bat deaths. And the main reason for getting on the wind is the environment friendly aspects of wind power.
Space is a big issue with HAWTs as well. 8-10 feet between yours... with VAWTs 1 foot and how ever high you city will allow. So more wind catching surface is achievable.
Spend your time researching and not spaming other peoples videos.
Fantastic!!!

WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST WIND TURBINE
Visit: windturbinecarriedbywheels.weebly.com
ZERO-NOISE from gears and generators since they're sealed underground.
SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS since the turbines are slow-moving.
DOES NOT NEED TO OCCUPY A WIDER LANDSCAPE since the turbine can be very tall.
MAY BE LOWER-COST since it can use parts of junked trucks and others.
ELUDES HURRICANE FORCE since the blades automatically close.
HELPS THE WIND ENERGY COMPANIES since it is FREE FOR ALL.

@danphobic
watch this (even slower wind mill):
/watch?v=VGPISFAJdHM
birds are usually confused by the air flow around the mill
you're lazy

@WendigoPL
I think the windmills should be networked it should not be expansive, since they are not so massive.
