how did you learn to make cars on sketch up? did you go to school for it? read a book? tutorials? Excellent work man.

@redXsketch All you need is a lot of practical work. Nothing will help if you do not do your best in every model.

Actualy i spend maybe 4 or 5 years until i developed my technique and learn make cars like this.

I have to model a golf cart for school and i kind of wanted to use sketch up but i'm not too familiar with it. I'm going to use solidworks and i'm sure it is going to take a lot of time and effort. If you did it that in SU, you are a genius. You are wasting your inborn habilities, your time, your skill in a software that is not the best to do what you are doing. Please, do a favour to yourself, learn something better than SketchUp, I don't mind if you learn 3D Max or Blender, You deserve something more because it could be your job, your life, the way you earn your money doing what you like and trust me, There is no price to pay the way you live.

@Zro8x I have my technique to create a smooth surface, of course it require a lots of practise and alot of work on details. I really cant not describe my technique but I recomend you to watch some 3ds max poly modeling tutorials. I think it is very similar like my way of modeling in sketchup. If you beginer in 3D car modeling can be very dificult.

@Zro8x I use only one - Fredo scale plugin for some curves in this model, everything else is model with basic sketchup tools
