@Miles52431 Sonic Unleashed does not work with ESR, ELF Swap Apps like CDLoader, ZoneLoader, CogSwap, HDLoader (except for the ToxicOS verison for DMS Modchips). The game only works on Modchips and a real SwapMagic 2-disc set. Sonic Unleashed is garbage just like Sonic 06 just not as bad. Even Sonic 4 was a disappointment to me, more of a slapjob HD mix of Sonic 1 with spotty physics and glitches. Sonic Team aint shit now without Yuji Naka IMO.

Guys, I have an ESR Program on my modded ps2 and i want to run a game which doesnt work with ESR but works with swap magic, memento and memor32 (Sonic Unleashed)

I only have ESR on my ps2 is there a way I can put Memor32 or Memento on my USB and boot them somehow via ESR or some way?

I burned naruto 8 in 1 and played the naruto narutimate hero 3 and it came up in black and white, i patched it with ntsc 2 pal and i esr patched it also, I have a PAL ps2, i dont know what the problem could be

@Miles52431 These Xin1 Complations are abit of a hit or miss with ESR i suggest getting a real ISO of naruto hero 3 and try that insted.

Did you create that disc image or did you pirate it? Ive made disc images and i can get them to boot with esr, however i cannot get a downloaded version of the same disc to boot. It usually gets stuck on the magenta screen. Does it have anything to do with the disc size? Should i add dummy files?

I was using the esr patcher, so maybe ill give memento patcher a try.

what game were you trying to boot that was downloaded? the memento patcher just works fine...the other ESR patchers seem a bit buggy.

so ESR is only for games that where pached for it? i have over 20 games that where burn way bfore i knew about this so i stick to cogswap

u can still use cogswap/cd loader/swap magic to do those games with FreeMCBoot..i prosume you are using the old indipendence exploit? FreeMCBoot works on ALMOST all ps2s (except for the SuperSlim PS2 and a few odd JAP ps2s)

if its the super slim (the slims with the builtin power supply) FreeMCBoot doesnt work. Almost all PS2 work (Fattys and most slims)

FreeMcBoot cant boot PSX like the ESR games direct like. You can (depending on your PS2 verison v9+ models) you can use uLE or PSX Launcher to swap the disc or just use GS/AR/CB PSX disc to swap (that works with all PS2s)

i highly dont recommend DVD-RW as most PS2s dont work well with them. I DO use them to test CD to DVD PS2 converts that have been patch with ESR so its kinda 50/50 chance of them working

Ok you make a folder on a flash drive with the freemcboot as the included readme says. You will then manually copy over programs which allow playing "backup" or "ahem" games. There is a patcher for ISO files but it disables online gameplay. Kind of a letdown but whatever.

Actually as long as you patch the DNAS first with WinDIP and then patch the game the ESR Patcher app, and burn you should be fine for the most part. I planing to update the vids here soon.

You also need swapmagic to do this, rename the installer to SWAPMAGIC.elf and put it in the folder called SWAPMAGIC this is case sensitive.

i think you can patch a NRG file with ESR Patcher but you could conver the NRG to ISO with UltraISO and try it that way.

no only DVD games in general...and some CD games can be converted to DVD for use with ESR like Marvel vs Capcom 2.
