yeah, i was in a dazed and confused hurry up its almost the deadline mind frame and didnt outline the steps for filming.. so lots of weirdness here but this (and the easier way) is how i usually make pouches...
have two pieces of fabric, insead of one, for your main pouch body. then you can sew the zipper onto both sides easily...but you will have a seam on the bottom of the inside of your pouch. xo

to do this side REALLY EASY:
