I remember doing free practice that day with you.. it looked like your head was inches from the ground every time I saw you in turn 2!! crazy crazy.. glad you didn't get hurt in that unfortunate low-side. You were making up so much ground from such a bad grid position.. I know you could have easily made the top 3 by the end of that sprint race.
My front tire was tearing from poor setup, so my traction wasn't as good as it should have been. I added a bit of lean angle to hit my apex of the decreasing radius turn, and that was enough to overload the front end.
Turn 4 scares the hell out of me. The R1 in front of me slid out in practice. That's where my brother always gets me on his little tz250

If the damage was minimal, then why didn't you pick the bike back up and continue racing?
you just didn't want to deal with the front tire issue?

You missed the crash. Boy, I can't tell you how many people I've seen hit the boulders in that exact same spot.
