Does that actually work? Because I imagine when the light splits into the separate colours, you will get chromatic aberration. Not only that, but the light wouldn't be a uniform plane when it escapes the lens (0:13) and it would cause further distortion.

just scanned the article, it is capable of shutting app. 6 million fps. (163 ns (nanoseconds) frame rate) and the shutter speed is 440 ps (picoseconds). Those are photons flying in the video which actually move with the speed of light. I have no idea why they did not write any explanation for common people who "may not have access" to a 30 dollar nature article.
