I strongly respect the jews for their conservation. Their religion is possibly the oldest in the world, they were kicked out of israel by the Romans about 1000 years ago, they have managed to stick together in Europe, enduring MANY hardships and racism. I just hope they continue to stick together, I would hate to see that culture disappear.
@dudemantwo a) the Christian Bible says the Romans killed Jesus, though Jews are mentioned as accomplices (claims that Jews killed Jesus came several hundred years later). How come the accomplices are persecuted and there isn't an anti-Roman movement through history?
@dudemantwo b) Jesus himself said, "Forgive them [i.e., the Jews], for they know not what they do." The Second Vatican Council in 1963 officially exonerated the Jews as the killers of Jesus. Neither statement of Christian belief lessened anti-Semitism. -- Google "why do people hate Jews" for the full article
Yeah, it seems us Ashkenazis get far more attention. I guess encountering Hitler will increase one's 'popularity'. I love Sephardim and do not know nearly enough about them. It's a shame really.
Who would know that a people almost destroyed in the 1940's would in 60 years would have their own country, control the U.S. financially and politically and militarily.
ive always been confused with jewish history. have they found any thing on the kings in the torah king David, king saul, king Solomon or even the temple, did it really exist?

@xxkoxlxxx people hate Jewish people because they were taught by the Church...that Jews killed God...
Stands to reason...
God was killed by Jews...according to the Church of Rome...

So, there are Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains etc and Jewish people? Can one not say Jews?
Sorry for my ignorabce, but I really am curious about this.
