This concert was @ Meadowbrook Farms in NH. That night it down poured the mixer was having all sorts of audio problems. Probably just didn't know what the fuck he was doing. You could tell it Threw Roland off. In spite of the tech problems which they took care of eventually they still put on a great show as always.

Sure, it sounds better and the instruments are mixed better, but live versions come across much more honest and raw. No studio trickery or anything like that in a live show.

its called falsetto, or head voice, pretty much you sing from your head, if you are actually singing, you can tell where your voice is coming from at the time, as it gets higher, it tends to move up, it may break and then you can sing higher at a different point, that is usually called falsetto

As much as I like CS, I went to see them in concert about six months ago and the guy that replaced Ross(Joel?)was so freaking loud that the PA system could hardly keep up, and it was a decent sized venue. The guy needs to turn down a little and let the sound guy put him in the mains. It was seriously ear bleeding and I as a guitarist usually like it loud, but it was way to much.

try some actual research - in an interview of David BOwie he was asked how he remembered the lyrics to his songs of which there are too many to recall even after doing them countless times.He said he uses cards or a teleprompter located near the audio monitors at stage front and that the only thing that has changed for him over the years is ( he laughs ) that the print has gotten much larger as his eyes get weaker.I guess he an amateur.
