Ok I found the solution to the problem of land on boat criteria. In order for it to count you must land on the boat where the blue marker is. Usually is the last one with blue stripes. It's easy just land on the marker boat on your radar. I got this from a guy on a forum and it worked =) finally got it yeah. This is for the ps3. I found that xbox players didn't have this problem but if you do then now you know.

you have to land on your feet directly on the boat. don't fall and get hurt! after you landed ON YOUR FEET, stay there for like 2 seconds, so the game recognizes that you actually landed on it. worked for me
