  • Suboxone has worked great for me. It allows me to be productive and feel normal.

  • Truth

  • I agree its trading one drug for another, BUT suboxone is really helping me feel normal and keeping alot more cash in my pocket. Ive never done herion but Ive pretty much done every other opiate under the sun. Suboxone is heaven sent, of course I wanna get off every drug, but this suboxone has helped me with the withdrawls and Im working and going to school feeling good, not high NORMAL and family members notices. Im all for it and slowly went from 2 8mg a day to 1 8mg a day now 1 4mg daily.

  • short term use one week

  • I agree..trading one drug for another.

  • Comments are welcome :-) Please post a thought after viewing.

  • Suboxone does not get you high. He may have gotten some feeling from injecting it.

  • @canes50 Its sure fucking does get you high. you must never taken it

  • @TRuEGaMingPS3 on a stabil dose it does not get you hight. my girlfriend is on it and she is never high, i am on 100mg methadone and i am not high. been on it for some years. for those not used to theese drugs will get high. but for maintanance u wont feel any high. this dude in the video is not telling the whole picture. when on theese drugs u are supposed to take them oraly and same dose over time.

  • i was on methadone for yrs. on doctors advice. id gotten down to 10mls on carries w/o his knowledge. I used suboxone for 28days. That was last april. YOU abused suboxone. YOU take responsibility BECAUSE pharma and their labcoat drugdealers do NOT want you off. You can blame others all day and yes they laugh to the bank. What are you going to do for you? Man up.

  • Seems that all proponents of Suboxone are current users, which includes people who quit Suboxone and went back to other opiates, or people who are lining their pockets by stringing people out further with this evil drug. It is HORRIBLE. It may have a use in a 3 to 7 day detox under close medical supervision, preceding immediate 28 day or greater inpatient treatment. Never for "maintenance"! Suboxone is a miracle until you quit, then it becomes the devil and you've just opened Pandora’s Box!

  • it's amazing how much wrong information there is out there about suboxone.

  • This is the same problem I see happening around me with recovering oxy addicts. They claim they quit but you see them crushing up their suboxone into lines. They still show the same characteristics of any addict out there by their actions.

  • Dude you are so wrong on so many levels. I used to shoot morphine for a long time but since i got on suboxone i am able to live a normal life! I am finishing my B.S. in computer science, I have a wonderful 4 year old daughter and i have been in happy meaningful relationships. I got my friends and family back and if the only downside is having to take 16mg of suboxone daily then i will gladly do that instead of wasting my life chasing morphine or heroin...

  • I disagree. Is it possible that this person (and/or others) are using this as a crutch to keep doing what they are doing? If you take it correctly, Suboxone WILL help! It will NOT get you high! It CAN & WILL help YOU save your life, IF YOU LET IT. It will take mega-control for the entire process (to admit addiction, to decide on recovery & control the urge to relapse). Took a long time to feel normal again but I did it... thanks to will power, an awesome support system, and SUBOXONE! Good luck!

  • Suboxone withdrawal is farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr worse than any other opiate I have withdrawn from. It took me months, yes months to overcome the withdrawals. I am one of a very few who have successfully detoxed off Suboxone and not switch to another drug. I have 4 years worth of random negative drug tests that prove this. I feel so bad for anyone who tries to stop using this drug under the illusion that the withdrawals are minor compared to other drugs. The withdrawals are the worst, PERIOD!

  • @Foldemchamp1 Can i ask what amount you droped off?

  • the thing i liked about the subs is that they didnt get me high...not like pain pills did. I could take a half of a sub & b fine, but id have 2 take 10 or 15 pain pills a day just 2 b able 2 get up & go..very expensive habit! Not 2 count i was gettin a legal script frm a dr 4 the subs & was gettin the painers off the street. Any drug can b abused so its up 2 the addict whether they wanta use subs the right way & quit..just because sum1 decides 2 abuse em doesnt make the drug bad

  • NOT correct. Suboxone should be taken under supervision of licensed physicians especially trained for this. period. Secondly, one should begin it AFTER one has been in withdrawals for a "sufficient period of time" IN TREATMENT (outpatient or inpatient). It is to be carefully monitored. Suboxone does NOT get you high if you are taking it correctly. It is not an addictive substance as you take two tabs a day and NEVER need more - ever. It just eliminates craving. Saved my life; a miracle gift.

  • Also what the dr. fails to tell you; Yeah the withdrawls from suboxone isn't as bad as lortabs but the half life of suboxone is a hell of a lot longer. You can be in withdrawls for months. I made it almost 2 weeks and had to get back on suboxone. I wish I would have just dealt with my addiction on my own.

  • I fully agree with everything you said about Suboxone.
