@DusTownSounds Well thats a pretty hateful statement coming from a hippie. I understand those days, free love, sex, drugs and rock and roll. Tell that to the Vietnam vets. They were busy watching their buddies get their arms blown off, just to come home to the young people calling them babie killers and what not.
@ThouHastEnabled what makes you think me and those people are hippies? you throw that word around you like everybody 'xcept you is one?! weird......and it's probably just you, who finds this statement hateful. it's a reaction on your sick statement, so it's just cheap, to react to a reaction, with another distressing and half-baked statement.
@ThouHastEnabled also, you're talkin "those days, free love, sex, drugs and rock and roll" ....what has THAT to do, with demonstrating against war, which people do worldwide since they have the ability to do so? what you write makes no sense, again. and plus: most soldiers who went to vietnam, went on "a little adventure in an exotic" world. they were not forced at all. so it's their batch, to having seen their buddies being killed, and being called baby (and innocent people) killers.
@DusTownSounds Actually dumbass (see, I didnt call you a hippie), there was a thing back then called....what was the term....oh yeah, a DRAFT. And yes, it was trendy to be a young person protesting against anything about the government. Before the free love movement, back in the Leave it to Beaver days, we were very much anti communist, and there wasnt a whole lot of protesting. I dont call everyone hippies, just pussy's. Like you.

@jokerlover16 It's because this qualifies as a massacre. War is one thing, shooting down protestors is another entirely. Though I do concede that my country (America) doesn't give a damn if it's not in our interests.

I also was a college student at the time of this "incident," I still remember the tension and disbelief that seemed to just fall on us.It was like, are we so insignificant that we can just be blown away like problematic pigeons.
@fntime WAKE UP AMERICA! YOU'RE GOING TO GET UP ONE MORNING AND, LIKE ITALY, FIND YOU HAVE AN UNELECTED BUREAUCRATIC BANKER ELITE FOR A LEADER. . . . you already have . . .
@fntime The sexual revolution/women's rights/rock and roll/drug ed/sex ed/etc. was a CIA plot to degrade the people then take them for all they've got (it worked in Russia). It's not even just hippies, it's practically everybody I'm in contact with everyday. It reminds me of the biblical notion of the lukewarm. It's comfortable to them--just right. But they will be found sleeping on some bed they didn't make when the Lord comes and far from eating them, he will spit them out like sour snails.
@fntime OK, so it obviously comes naturally. But 'really' impressive 'use' of 'apostrophe' -- unfortunately for you, quote marks are the ones with two lines, moron.
@wavydavy2000 Hi wavy, haven't heard from you in awhile. Did you get out of jail yet? You are a 'poser'! A shit bird who lacks intelligence, you would rather vomit on your family than get a job. Hey, welfare was your life and then Clinton took it away from you. Do you still teach at the Freedom School with Billy Jack? How'd you make out with HIV? Do you still turn tricks for 'doogie'! Wavy, you are an evil person.Having a crack pipe and claiming you are part Flock Seagulls sucks.
@fntime I hope you don't think this point of view is actually legitimate. And I don't view hippies as "posers and deceivers." They believe in a way of life that you disagree with, that is all there is to it.
@fntime and you will never have even seen us when you lie wondering what happened to it all. In spite of all their ill-gotten resources, 1% (of 320 million) must eventually lose against 99%. Sheer force of committed numbers has always trumped bullets and abusive wealth in world history. Artillery can't stop the guillotine when the gunners realize and defect to join their own families.
Many of those shit-disturbers were agent provacateurs. They were FBI who were acting like hippies to make them look bad. This tactic is still used today. with the state of the world as it is, I see another 1968 happening again. Only this time, there will be no oil to bail us out.

@paland99 truth alert! paland pointed at the elephant in the room. i was there, nobody in my presence called soldiers babykillers and such. half of all those hippie extreme assholes were plants. and no mia, the "protest mongers" are not the bad guys. take a deep breath. contemplate on freedom and the universal rights of man.
Have all of you forgotten the hundreds of thousands of innocents being killed in Cambodia and Vietnam? Is that how you deal with this tragedy? The protests were to stop the war machine of the US from ad hoc killing innocent human beings, or don't you care about innocent human beings? Soldiers young or not, should not have had orders to shoot at anyone on Americana soil, period. What are you going to say if they come after you and your family?
Ohio's state motto was, "With God, all things are possible." Nixon didn't like that. Too damn bad. He can explain that attitude to God when he's standing naked in front of Him, and why he sent thousands of young Americans to be murdered in an unjust military conflict. "I-I needed the conservative votes." God: "Into the oven with you. NEXT."
what makes me sick is that now those people died for nothing. We as a society have allowed to happen what they died for to not happen. Think about it?
@Thamien777 I don't agree it was for nothing. We all learned something from that experience. Imagine being a college student at the time (I was). Soldiers then were DRAFTED, YOUNG, and SCARED. They were far outnumbered by the students, rocks were being thrown at them and they all went into a panic, and did the worst thing imagineable. The real bad guys were the protest-mongers who went around to college campuses and started this crap. Those "kids" should not have been involved.
I say this again and I don't mean to offend anyone. I believe in peaceful or even rowdy but non-violent protest. But when the police or National Guard troops show up and say the following words: "We declare this to be an unlawful assembly." then for God's sake get the fuck out of there because the shit is about to hit the fan. Bullets and tear-gas don't distinguish between protesters and innocent bystanders. It's better to leave and live to protest another day.
@chrispmis : O.k., then I declare the National Guard to be non-existent, invalid and irrelevant. That was much easier than I thought it would be. We're free now.
From Australia, i will remember the 4. A disgusting day. Never forget, because if you do, it will happen again. And with the same results. Fuck all charges. And the families of the victims receiving letters saying "Glad your slut is dead". Instead of remaking fucking "True Grit", how about a movie about the murder that happened in 1970 at Kent State?
Neil should have used for his solo career, personally I don't think this translates well with CSN & Y. I do prefer his Massey Hall version myself, but as always, i'm sure somebody out there dosn't!
Thanks for the upload anyway, always refreshing to hear a different version.

I hate to see an innocent life lost, but one rule should always be followed: "When the guys with the guns show up, it's time to leave.......FAST!" If you want to stick around that's your business, but you're the only one who's ultimately accountable for what happens to you.
PS: This is a great song. CSNY Four Way Street was the first album I ever bought. I was 14 and it was 1970, and I listened to that album constantly. There's not a bad song on it.
@chrispmis You've just made political protest essentially impossible with your "rule." All gov't has to do is send cops or guardsmen to the scene and everyone leaves? Brilliant. Just brilliant political thinking. And youy blamed the 4 for their own deaths. You know what? Most/all weren't protestors; they were bystanders. No, victims aren't responsible for the lawbreaking and immoral behavior of their assailants. You're a political and moral neanderthal. Your views are a prescription for fascism.
@jackstpaul I think it's fascists who overreact and throw around names like "political and moral neanderthal" towards anyone with a differing argument. Sound like anyone that you know? And YES...I stand by my statement that when the people with the guns show up...RUN! That's why it's so important to think about the government you elect. I believe it was liberal democrats who ran and STILL run Chicago and Illinois. So much for the party of peace and tolerance. Vote conservative and live free!
@chrispmis Don;'t care what you think as you've previously demonsatrted that you don't do it very well. Likely you're very young without a fully formed mental and moral capacity.
@jackstpaul That's what the Nazis said about the Jews and the Russians. The Jews have no moral capacity and the Russians are sub-mental, so lets kill them. Good job Jack. Good luck and goodbye.
@chrispmis u had me till the end there u ill informed douchebag. go kill urself. vote conservative, you hillbilly fuck. go fuck your sister while i trick your mom and daughter out.
@dointhacockroach Sorry. Not a hillbilly; no sister, mom, or daughter. Is that the way you go off on a guy because he's conservative? You need to broaden your idea of a conservative. I play poker, I drink, I subscribe to Playboy, love a good strip club; a good massage parlor; I don't tell anyone how to live their life; I mind my own business. What part of that don't you like? All conservatives aren't the same; neither are all liberals. I just said vote conservative to piss off that idiot. Geez.
No one wrote a song about the 2 dead in Jackson State, shot dead by police only 10 days after Kent. In fact, many people do not even know that those young men in Mississippi lost their lives. Why? Because they were black, the Kent students were white. Remember the Kent State 4, but also remember the Jackson 2, their lives were just as precious.
@luvinwafflez No. Kent state is remembered becasue it came first and involved 4 dead. The circumstances are legendary. Jackson was less of a shock because there was the precedent from Kent State; Kent State was so shocking as to be unthinkable due to being unprecedented. Jackson St. was thinkable after Kent St. I'm not saying racism isn't involved in it receivng less attention at all, but you deny the crucial importance of Kent State for being new and more tragic in terms of numbers.
@jackstpaul Alright, I will give you that Kent State did come as a shock to many. But to be honest, at the time with the tension between the "hippie" and "straight" cultures, to say that no one expected SOMEthing to end this culture-conflict is not far fetched at all.Numbers had little to do with it and to say that Kent was new, look at the Orangeburg Massacre in 1968, similar to Jackson, but even less attention and even more casualties. 4 killed 9 wounded to 2 killed 12 wounded is a small gap.
@luvinwafflez I agree with you that Jackson St. has received far less attention that it should have. Even in the shadow of Kent St., very few people remember it, which is strange given how significant it is in it's own right.
@jackstpaul : A lot of people have no idea that Kent State was just an isolated, representative example of a massive thing that was going on. The "news" is highly skilled at picking examples that boost circulation. What made Kent State dramatic is that Ohioans are very peaceful, generous and decent people.
I was a freshman at Illinois State in 1970. The demonstrators were not all Ohioans! Students came from other states--AND professional "shit-disturbers" went around to campuses creating demonstrations all over the country. We were constantly harrassed by these people for being apathetic if we didn't go along with them. When soldiers with guns tell you to stop, you should! The soldiers were also very young, outnumbered, and rocks were being thrown at them. Everybody there was in a panic. Sad.
@luvinwafflez Kent State was a very dramatic situation because the soldiers were just as young as the students, they were outnumbered, & the students were throwing rocks at them. (I was a freshman at IL State U at the time.)
CSNY were inspired by the sadness of the event, which was caused by invaders on college campuses, coaxing students to demonstrate. As for black persecution, I could give you a list of at least 50 movies & songs written about THAT! How about ROOTS for instance?
if only half the emotion that today's generation exudes on 'the net' in words, attempting to chew up and spit out someone they don't even know, were actually realized with actions/deeds to protest against that which they're actually pissed off...
sorry, forgot to take the meds. i'll go back in my corner.... ;)
pick up a gun then tough guy. Go fight some Iraqis and get blown up by a fucking car bomb made by a 12 year old, in a war that was started by your own fucking country. More like, "goddamn sheep", who blindly "support our troops" not knowing the real fucking reason why innocent civilians are dying. I've heard terrible stories about "our troops" raping Iraqis, killing innocent people for fun...Is that really what people want to support?
and I wonder if how many it will take to get people to WTFU this time?? Maybe the next time We the People can follow through with a taking back of America?
and to answer Mr "they told me, so I know", WATCH on Googl video: WACO-Rules of engagement 1 and 2. YOU decide for yourself. Question everything.
Bill Clinton and the Janet Reno Justice Department killed 250 women, children and men. No one cared really. No protests, no songs, no uprising. (waco texas) This generation is the cowardly one.
Five years ago I was in Vienna Ohio for my daughters softball tournament. When I learned we were near Kent State I made it my goal to go to the location. The area where the four students were killed (murdered) is now a parking lot, The location where each student fell is best described as a parking spot, i.e., the size of a parking spot blockaded off. I was expecting more but it is something. The other comment I have is "History often repeats itself" and therefore what does the future hold?

Something that bothers me is that we have an unjust war going on in Iraq right now and there is hardly any mainstream lyrical protest about it. Doesn't anyone have a voice anymore? The most memorable music was from a time when we as a people had never been so divided.
And when the stoners finally took the white house, they rolled into Waco and murdered 80 people. '"Tin soldiers and Reno coming" 80 dead down in Waco"
@nalniuqs First of all, the Davidians were stockpiling illegal assault weapons...illegal even for the state of Texas at the time. there had also been child abuse going on in the compound. plus the Davidians started the shooting, and burned THEMSELVES alive. stop listening to Limbaugh and go fuck yourself because you obviously have no clue what you're talking about or you condone child abuse.
@hellojulie first of all, this kind of conversation should not be discussed on a thread about csny....secondly it' is our 2nd amendment right granted to us in "the bill of rights" "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." thirdly David Koresh was in town and in sight of federal agents multiple times on multiple days leading up to a botched federal raid, with a warrant for just Koresh (which they couldn't have served him the day before when they saw him go into town)?
@captainwess Its so true how much the public is willing to take an emotional shuff up the ass when anyone who knows knows david should was easily gotten at the grocery store come on you weinies grow up the government will LIE to you its the the economy stupid
@captainwess it was illegal in the state of Texas to have assault rifles. do you think people should have hand grenades? the arms they were referring to in the 2nd Amendment were blunderbusses and muskets, not M16s, AK 47s, or Mac10s. they had a warrant to search the compound. it would be pointless to arrest Koresh in town if he wasnt with the evidence. the people of the US have no right to break laws either, like the Davidians did repeatedly
@hellojulie I can tell you do not reside in a "lone star" like Texas, new Mexico or Arizona...so let fill you in on a couple things..first of all it was illegal to own an assault rifle in Texas nor will it probably ever be..let me quote the Branch Davidians defense team "i do not believe that any of the grenades or assault rifles were illegal until the A.T.F showed up"..let me translate that for... in lone star states like Texas they have laws pertaining to the ownership of certain "novelties"...
@hellojulie fourthly anyone who was forced by the government to testify in the federal grand jury investigation against the branch Davidians and Koresh himself on child abuse charges, later recanted and told the media that they were instructed by federal officials on what to say before the senate congregational comity.... fifthly since when does the A.T.F serve child abuse warrants? and sixthly both footage from the ground ,and F.L.I.R satellite captured a flame thrower tank burning them down
@hellojulie among these certain items you my legally own are things like a grenade shell,a grenade charge,a grenade detonator and a kit with die cast and key to make any assault rifle fully automatic(which any one can own)..the law explicitly states that you are never allowed to assemble then at one time in one place without a class three weapons license, which was the case for the Branch Davidians when they chose to defend themselves they assembled it all and were then braking the law not before
@hellojulie seventh the 911 phone calls from inside the compound tell a completely different story, where you hear a man telling the police "there are women and children here tell them to call it off!!....god no!! help!!!......they shot first!! .....we have a right to defend ourselves!!....83 innocent men women and children were burned alive by OUR own government ,and i don't need a treasonous retch like Limbaugh telling me it's true to know, what is painfully obvious, that our government lies....
@hellojulie "there were also accounts of Davidians saying the time was near and that they set fire to the compound themselves"...and were did the "accounts" come from? because if it came from anyone inside the compound they were coached in to saying it and all of them admitted this afterwords...and if came from anyone outside the compound,A. how would they have been privy to this information and B. the track record of those on the outside to speak the truth is questionable....
@captainwess automatic assualt rifles were illegal. whether or not they were in fact automatic is in question because the ATF never got to serve the warrant. about the fire, why would the government intentionally kill civilians, including 32 british nationals and a couple of canadians on a worldwide broadcast watched by millions?
@hellojulie the rifles in question were in fact not automatic until the kits were installed and the kit were not installed till after the A.T.F showed up...but automatic rifles are not illegal in Texas at the time, nor are they now,the ban on assault rifles at the time was with the Brady bill and only dealt with the importation of them, not the sale...to this very day you may own ,with a class three weapons license,a vast array of military hardware including automatic rifles...
@hellojulie "why would the government intentionally kill civilians, including 32 British nationals and a couple of Canadians on a worldwide broadcast watched by millions? "...first off the news teams were not permitted to film in the compound so everything was filmed from a distance around the compound and news crews were repeatedly harassed and asked to leave, but what they did catch on film was horrifying...the government goons were playing in a loop "these boots are made for walking" .....
@hellojulie all the cars the branch dividians were restoring were lined uo and ran over with a tank like it was a monster truck rally.David koresh had contacted the local police during the raid and had told them that they were more than welcome to inspect the property, but the government would not be allowed to accompany them because it was unconstitutional.the ATF created a ruse about the possibility of illegal drug manufacturing at Mount Carmel to obtain free military assistance for the raid
@hellojulie The involvement of the Delta Force, an elite, top-secret Army unit established to combat terrorism. Some former government officials say the Delta Force had a greater role in the operation than the FBI acknowledges and, as a result, violated the Posse Comitatus Act.of 1878..In a sworn affidavit, a former sergeant first class in Army Special Forces said a non commissioned officer told him that the Delta Force's "B" Squadron had been ordered to "take down" the Branch Davidians
@hellojulie Texas law prohibits the use of the Texas National Guard in civilian law enforcement unless there is a clear drug connection. Alabama law says its National Guard force has no authority outside state boundaries.
National Guard personnel and equipment from both states were used at Mount Carmel. A congressional report has determined that those actions were taken without proper authority.
@hellojulie and the "weapons of mass destruction" were not going to be found neither were the drugs that had allowed the use of military so they torched the evidence....Marc Breault was the only one who suggested that a methamphetamine lab had once been seen on Branch Davidian premises. Congressional investigators later determined that Breault was a former Branch Davidian who had left the sect on bad terms....the drugs were a lie too
a helluva a lot more then 83 people have been killed by our government, ours or any other. I am a democratic socialist and im quite liberal but complaining about governments lying is irrational because it has been going on since government was formed. Many lies in government are justified and many are not and the only thing to decided between the just and unjust is certain people. So it is better to say that there are people IN government who lie, not governments themselves.
@GnomesAmok what the hell are you talking about, douche bag?you wouldn't be condoning the deaths of defenseless women and children would you? what if i were to tell you....if you're talking about the holocaust ....those Jew rats got what was coming to them.....????hmmmm???how do you like them apples?
@hellojulie Wher are you people going to get it when the militia is out and california falls in the crapper and theirs noboby to defend u but those good ole boys and their guns who ya gonna cry help to then

Hippies were a disease on the land, they were upper middle class posers!
They threatened men with guns, that is suicidal.
When you act like an out of control mob, you are treated like a mob.
It's funny how many liberals, hippie types, became college 'teachers'.
These same 'people' have almost eliminated free speech from the

There's not a bad song on it.
chrispmis 1 year ago
@chrispmis You've just made political protest essentially impossible with your "rule." All gov't has to do is send cops or guardsmen to the scene and everyone leaves? Brilliant. Just brilliant political thinking. And youy blamed the 4 for their own deaths. You know what? Most/all weren't protestors; they were bystanders. No, victims aren't responsible for the lawbreaking and immoral behavior of their assailants. You're a political and moral neanderthal. Your views are a prescription for fascism.
jackstpaul 1 year ago
@jackstpaul I think it's fascists who overreact and throw around names like "political and moral neanderthal" towards anyone with a differing argument. Sound like anyone that you know? And YES...I stand by my statement that when the people with the guns show up...RUN! That's why it's so important to think about the government you elect. All conservatives aren't the same; neither are all liberals. I just said vote conservative to piss off that idiot. Geez.
chrispmis 1 year ago
No one wrote a song about the 2 dead in Jackson State, shot dead by police only 10 days after Kent. In fact, many people do not even know that those young men in Mississippi lost their lives. Why? Because they were black, the Kent students were white. Remember the Kent State 4, but also remember the Jackson 2, their lives were just as precious.
luvinwafflez 1 year ago
@luvinwafflez No. Kent state is remembered becasue it came first and involved 4 dead. The circumstances are legendary. Jackson was less of a shock because there was the precedent from Kent State; Kent State was so shocking as to be unthinkable due to being unprecedented. Jackson St. was thinkable after Kent St. I'm not saying racism isn't involved in it receivng less attention at all, but you deny the crucial importance of Kent State for being new and more tragic in terms of numbers.
jackstpaul 1 year ago 2
@jackstpaul Alright, I will give you that Kent State did come as a shock to many. But to be honest, at the time with the tension between the "hippie" and "straight" cultures, to say that no one expected SOMEthing to end this culture-conflict is not far fetched at all.Numbers had little to do with it and to say that Kent was new, look at the Orangeburg Massacre in 1968, similar to Jackson, but even less attention and even more casualties. 4 killed 9 wounded to 2 killed 12 wounded is a small gap.
luvinwafflez 1 year ago
@luvinwafflez I agree with you that Jackson St. has received far less attention that it should have. Even in the shadow of Kent St., very few people remember it, which is strange given how significant it is in it's own right.
jackstpaul 1 year ago
@jackstpaul : A lot of people have no idea that Kent State was just an isolated, representative example of a massive thing that was going on. The "news" is highly skilled at picking examples that boost circulation. What made Kent State dramatic is that Ohioans are very peaceful, generous and decent people.
buzzclick500 1 year ago
I was a freshman at Illinois State in 1970. The demonstrators were not all Ohioans! Students came from other states--AND professional "shit-disturbers" went around to campuses creating demonstrations all over the country. We were constantly harrassed by these people for being apathetic if we didn't go along with them. When soldiers with guns tell you to stop, you should! The soldiers were also very young, outnumbered, and rocks were being thrown at them. Everybody there was in a panic. Sad.
mia2kl 1 year ago
@mia2kl : Aaah, good to know. Thank you. ;])
buzzclick500 1 year ago
@luvinwafflez Kent State was a very dramatic situation because the soldiers were just as young as the students, they were outnumbered, & the students were throwing rocks at them. (I was a freshman at IL State U at the time.)
CSNY were inspired by the sadness of the event, which was caused by invaders on college campuses, coaxing students to demonstrate. As for black persecution, I could give you a list of at least 50 movies & songs written about THAT! How about ROOTS for instance?

hellojulie 1 year ago

SuperAfter7 1 year ago
@captainwess it was illegal in the state of Texas to have assault rifles. do you think people should have hand grenades? the arms they were referring to in the 2nd Amendment were blunderbusses and muskets, not M16s, AK 47s, or Mac10s. they had a warrant to search the compound. it would be pointless to arrest Koresh in town if he wasnt with the evidence. the people of the US have no right to break laws either, like the Davidians did repeatedly
hellojulie 1 year ago
@hellojulie I can tell you do not reside in a "lone star" like Texas, new Mexico or Arizona...so let fill you in on a couple things..first of all it was illegal to own an assault rifle in Texas nor will it probably ever be..let me quote the Branch Davidians defense team "i do not believe that any of the grenades or assault rifles were illegal until the A.T.F showed up"..let me translate that for... in lone star states like Texas they have laws pertaining to the ownership of certain "novelties"...

@hellojulie fourthly anyone who was forced by the government to testify in the federal grand jury investigation against the branch Davidians and Koresh himself on child abuse charges, later recanted and told the media that they were instructed by federal officials on what to say before the senate congregational comity.... fifthly since when does the A.T.F serve child abuse warrants? and sixthly both footage from the ground ,and F.L.I.R satellite captured a flame thrower tank burning them down
captainwess 1 year ago
@captainwess the ATF served it for the illegal assault weapons.
hellojulie 1 year ago
@hellojulie among these certain items you my legally own are things like a grenade shell,a grenade charge,a grenade detonator and a kit with die cast and key to make any assault rifle fully automatic(which any one can own)..the law explicitly states that you are never allowed to assemble then at one time in one place without a class three weapons license, which was the case for the Branch Davidians when they chose to defend themselves they assembled it all and were then braking the law not before
captainwess 1 year ago
@hellojulie seventh the 911 phone calls from inside the compound tell a completely different story, where you hear a man telling the police "there are women and children here tell them to call it off!!....god no!! help!!!......they shot first!! .....we have a right to defend ourselves!!....83 innocent men women and children were burned alive by OUR own government ,and i don't need a treasonous retch like Limbaugh telling me it's true to know, what is painfully obvious, that our government lies....

@hellojulie "there were also accounts of Davidians saying the time was near and that they set fire to the compound themselves"...and were did the "accounts" come from? because if it came from anyone inside the compound they were coached in to saying it and all of them admitted this afterwords...and if came from anyone outside the compound,A. how would they have been privy to this information and B. the track record of those on the outside to speak the truth is questionable....
captainwess 1 year ago
@captainwess automatic assualt rifles were illegal. whether or not they were in fact automatic is in question because the ATF never got to serve the warrant. about the fire, why would the government intentionally kill civilians, including 32 british nationals and a couple of canadians on a worldwide broadcast watched by millions?
hellojulie 1 year ago
@hellojulie the rifles in question were in fact not automatic until the kits were installed and the kit were not installed till after the A.T.F showed up...but automatic rifles are not illegal in Texas at the time, nor are they now,the ban on assault rifles at the time was with the Brady bill and only dealt with the importation of them, not the sale...to this very day you may own ,with a class three weapons license,a vast array of military hardware including automatic rifles...
captainwess 1 year ago
@hellojulie "why would the government intentionally kill civilians, including 32 British nationals and a couple of Canadians on a worldwide broadcast watched by millions? "...first off the news teams were not permitted to film in the compound so everything was filmed from a distance around the compound and news crews were repeatedly harassed and asked to leave, but what they did catch on film was horrifying...the government goons were playing in a loop "these boots are made for walking" .....
captainwess 1 year ago
@hellojulie all the cars the branch dividians were restoring were lined uo and ran over with a tank like it was a monster truck rally.David koresh had contacted the local police during the raid and had told them that they were more than welcome to inspect the property, but the government would not be allowed to accompany them because it was unconstitutional.the ATF created a ruse about the possibility of illegal drug manufacturing at Mount Carmel to obtain free military assistance for the raid
captainwess 1 year ago
@hellojulie The involvement of the Delta Force, an elite, top-secret Army unit established to combat terrorism. Some former government officials say the Delta Force had a greater role in the operation than the FBI acknowledges and, as a result, violated the Posse Comitatus Act.of 1878..In a sworn affidavit, a former sergeant first class in Army Special Forces said a non commissioned officer told him that the Delta Force's "B" Squadron had been ordered to "take down" the Branch Davidians
captainwess 1 year ago
@hellojulie Texas law prohibits the use of the Texas National Guard in civilian law enforcement unless there is a clear drug connection. Alabama law says its National Guard force has no authority outside state boundaries.
National Guard personnel and equipment from both states were used at Mount Carmel. A congressional report has determined that those actions were taken without proper authority.
captainwess 1 year ago
@hellojulie and the "weapons of mass destruction" were not going to be found neither were the drugs that had allowed the use of military so they torched the evidence....Marc Breault was the only one who suggested that a methamphetamine lab had once been seen on Branch Davidian premises. Congressional investigators later determined that Breault was a former Branch Davidian who had left the sect on bad terms....the drugs were a lie too
captainwess 1 year ago
a helluva a lot more then 83 people have been killed by our government, ours or any other. I am a democratic socialist and im quite liberal but complaining about governments lying is irrational because it has been going on since government was formed. Many lies in government are justified and many are not and the only thing to decided between the just and unjust is certain people. So it is better to say that there are people IN government who lie, not governments themselves.

Hey! Such a nice video.
I really like good music, not the stuff of these days...
This is your case too? Nice! You'd like to check out my new channel, MariosSoul.
It's all about good, REAL music! You won't be able to find any Lady Caca nor Justin Bieber vids. there (NO WAY).
Feel invited to relive the old days with songs from the 50 ', 60', 70 ', 80's and more!
Long live Rock & Roll!
