  • Hello,

I've just bought a Godin Multiac Grand Concert SA and been debating about what Synthesizer to go with it. Would you folks recommend a Roland GR 20, GR 33, GR 55 or what ever comes our way? Please advise. I'll greatly appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

  • Thanks for the great demo - I just bought the same guitar (now I have work to do to play like you :-) )

  • @MrEdTrompet ,you are on your way to play like me. Is just a matter of time and keeping the pace.

  • @_@ Wow!

  • Awesome playing!! =).

I just want to know if the sound of the guitar without be connected to an amplifier is loud enough?

  • @galletitamortal ,yes, the guitar is very loud and is not "feedbacking".I use SR JAM 400 from SR technology playing with a very crazy loud drummer ,bass and voice inside my rehearsal room and is ok.Also the preamp is quiet, has no "low buzz" even if you add bass freq from the guitar eq.Very good guitar indeed

  • @galletitamortal Saludos. Yo tengo una Grand Concert SA. Desconectada es apenas audible. O sea, se escucha algo, pero no mucho. Ahora bien. Conectada a un amplificador tiene un sonido excelente. Yo uso la mia a traves de un Roland AC90 .

  • Hi..Does this guitar have a USB port for direct plug into a computer? I have heard that it does...Thanks....

  • Great demo,thanx very much.I'm a big Godin fan...I wouldn't change mine,but this sounds amazing!

  • Brilliant playing, someday I wish to play like you, So as an aspiring demosforeverybody guitarist can I ask you question about the Godin Multiac duet ambience guitars.... I noticed that their is another model that is just a straight Godin Multiac duet ambience... do you know what the difference between the two are and how they differ in tone quality I love the warm tone of the grand.....

And lastly how are you recording this sound its magic, straight to your computer

DI? I need to know Cheers

  • @sexyizatv ,I guess are pretty similar.every Godin with fishmann Aura inside has a briliant acoustic realistic sound. I guess is just a matter of taste. You must enter into a Godin store ,plug the guitar into an acoustic amp or a little P.A system and simply choose your favourite Godin guitar. In my case my friend from Godin Guitars Canada-Fred di Santo suggested that this guitar is "best fit for my playing"I belived him and took this guitar...I hope I did it well. thanks for the +++comment

  • hi your godin is the multiac grand concert duet ambiance? this guitar has outputs (XLR and 1/4) or only (1/4)?

  • only 1/4.Much better

  • only 1/4.Much better

  • only 1/4.Much better

  • Are they real mics or some sort of simulation like Fishman's Aura?

  • @garycactus Not a mic. It's an I-Beam pup, which does sound quite a bit like a mic, but unfortunately, not a very good mic. It works pretty well though when you blend it together with the bridge piezos and add mic modeling. i would like to have bought this guitar, but I needed synth access, and Godin doesn't make a guitar that gives you both synth access and the duet mic modeling, so I seteled for the ACS Limited Edition and run through a Boss AD-5 for mic modeling. Works just as well.

  • I think that cable is very essential. Nice demo. Thanks for posting.

  • Hi! Nice demo thanks a lot.

May I ask the selling price of the Grand Concert Duet Ambiance ?

    Thanks

    AT

  • No... I don't know the retail price but sounds awesome...I guess around 2000Euros...maybe more

  • @demos4everybody I own this bought it from guitar center for around 1800 dollars. Very good price for such an incredible guitar.

  • Fantastic Demo, thank you so much!

  • I do my best..Thank you!
