I saw this vinyl record in my family collection for years. I see why they still have it sitting there. The 70s bass heavy disco sound drives me crazy!!
This was one of the original break beats in the beginnings of hip hop. However "Space Disco" had more recognition off this album 'cuz of its use in Saturday Night Fever. Man, I used to love this album.
I have this LP and use to play it alot. I notice this LP had more dance style music.......
I never though of Mandrill influence but as I listen now oh yea. Tango Hustle. Maybe because I'm old school the music back in the days was alot better. I guess my father said the same thing about my the 70's,80, and 90's music. Thanks for having putting it on the tube. Peace.
@Shivante83 I want to thank you for your feed back, it means so much to me. Unfoturnately we never got to perform this Album live to receive any feed back from our fans...Thank you so very much.

The Killowatt Album was the only Album that we produced ourselves without the influence of Kool & the Gang. Every song was pure and original.

These boys used to play in the garage with Kool and The Gang. In fact Kool's youngest brother plays in this band.

I used to listen to this album, so much I put it on a old school funk mix tape. I'm just 31 and was listening to this at 17. Good sounds.
