If you've ever seen "Citizen Kane", you would realize the intended meaning of Obama's presence upon in the balcony is not racist at all, but rather a clever nod to the original scene. In the original, the figure secretly watching Kane from up in the balcony is his opponent in the election, Jim W. Gettys. If Kane is replaced by John McCain, then it is fitting that Jim Gettys should be replaced by Obama.
