that isn't that good use a pencil to start out with. also look at pics on google on torso and arms and see if that helps. it sure helped me. Keep practice'n. u can do great things if you put ur mind to it

Hey I used to draw like you do. Fast and with pen. What helped me was to slow down and get a pencil. Take this same drawing and spend fifteen minutes on it then next time spend 30 min. Then try longer. Even if your get done with the actually drawing keep adding little details for the whole 30 mins. I can not tell you how much this greatly increased my drawing ability. Now when I draw something in 3 mins it at least doesn't look like it.

I think this video should have been called "How I draw the Hulk in 3 Minutes" as opposed to titling it as an instructional piece. Your anatomy, perspective, proportions, lines, and overall ink work need a lot of practice, this can take years and years to perfect, I've drawn for 25 years I've done tons of research, practiced for hours on end and I'm still not happy with where I'm at.

This is an honest critique I'm not here to discourage you, there is potential there, keep at it and good luck!

wow that's a pretty depressing prospect. I've only been drawing for 4 years and I still know I suck right now, but I would hope that after another 21 years I would be somewhere near the level skill that I could be content with my drawing capabilities :)

Every artist is their own worst critic no matter how good they are. 4 years isn't a very long time, but you have a lot more potential than a lot of folks. Some people will just get frustrated and quit not even a year into their practice, people quit my art class in college because they lacked the patience. Spawn creator Todd McFarlane sucked nuts at drawing well into his early 20s, but he buckled down and disciplined himself. Education, practice, determination, and patience is all it takes.
