This is great video ELF it touch many Eritrea hearts, relatives, friends, family members those who made in 1950s, 1960s, 1970s etc are our great people and our hero forever - history never forget, and will never be forget them. Thank you for sharing.

schatirey great ELF but infact i would say Great ELF and EPLF because i agree with EritreanKing007; they all mean Eritrea to me. In fact I was happy to see a footage of our liberation struggle dating back to that time by foreign journalists and the footage included activities of ELF and EPLF. To be specific the training and the songs are from ELF side and the bombing i guess is in Dekemhare (EPLF liberated town). The part on Massawa front was no doubt EPLFs. Great cleap took me year back.

@dawur2002 , Yes, it is Dekemhare. Real name DekiMehari. A family member was martyred in DekiMehari.She was very funny.During the fights when she was in our village,when she and her fellow soldiers made a rest,she took a baby of the family and visited the elders of our neighbourhood.She said to them:"I'm leaving my child to join the struggle". The elders were very sad and like, meshkin to the baby...a few minutes later, she said to them that the baby was not hers.At the end there were laughing!

This video means a lot me.I heared a lot of the struggle.Especially from the heavy fights 1978/79 near Asmara,how the mothers from our village cooked for our Lions. And also that our Lions came to our house for medical treatment during the fights.There was also one emotional thing,but its too private here!The weather was very bad at that time and the enemy was armed to teeth by his Soviet Master,you can't imagine how hard it was! ETERNAL GLORY TO OUR HEROIC MARTYRS!!Merçi mille fois mon frère!

Watching this video as they bombed our fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters....we should never forget it! Anyone who dare to attack Eritrea from outside, we all should protect it as it was our own child. We paid (unlike many African countries) our independence with blood...and no matter what, we must protect it. Awte Egil Rehib Gebil!
