This. Looks. Dreadful. From the looks of this clip, it manages to take a subject that somehow, in all of its effortless cheek and unpredictable vigor, still informs culture and reduces it to bland, show-tuney, clueless musical theater. And it will probably be a big hit. Or maybe it will go the route of "Lennon."

Why not just revive Songs for Drella with a roster of appropriate singers with Reed and Cale as musical directors? That would be so Andy.
