the first time i ever saw The Fellowship of the Ring i started crying when Boromir died saving Merry and Pippin and said "my brother, my captain, my king" to Aragorn. he was also my favorite character in the fellowship and i wished he didnt have to die.

They all come from the extended versions, none of them are made by myself, I just add them as I wanted, but are not mine.

You will find all these scenes on the extended versions, the best I've ever seen!

Boromir is certainly one of my favourite characters in the books, and partially in the movies. However, I still prefer Faramir, since he (except being physically strong) also has an iron will. (Uncorruptable, while Boromir gave in to the corruption of the ring)

For my part, I think Boromir gave in the corruption , well a kind of corruption just because he wanted to see Minas Tirith as great and famous as it was before, their father put on him too many responsabilities, it's why he wanted a good solution and the ring seemed to be the best one. Faramir thought about it differently, I agree, and so he didn't give in the corruption, or not completely.
