@Jquuest That 2002 Kings team was one of the most memorable teams from the 17 years that I have been following the NBA. Great chemistry, great skill, and just a great brand of basketball. An entertaining and excellent team. Even with that heartbreaking 7 game series loss to the Lakers, that series was the best in NBA history, in my book. It does still hurt to realize that the Kings did not win that, from the lucky Horry shot in Game 4 to the atrociously officiated Game 6.
Im a Super Sonics fan so, I can't say I'm a big fan of Paul Westphal. However, I am very proud of him standing up for the team staying in Sacramento. I really hope that the owners in LA push hard against a move to SoCal. The King vs Sonics in the 90s were some great games. I always hated having to play the Kings in Arco Arena.
After seeing it transpire, maybe you are right. But I never even seen it tried before. I am no basketball coach or anything but it seems to me that they were willing to give him that three. It doesn't matter much now, but Grant asks that question everytime in that situation and I always scream at the T.V. FOUL!!
Has anyone ever heard of fouling a guy when your up three with less than 10 seconds left ever failing? Why give the rapist a chance to kill us one last time.
@damehal Well can't blame that I mean they have to avoid the screen there, second Kobe got open he took the shot (like he should've, right play) but I agree probably shoulda fouled once he looked to take, but with Kobe they probably woulda called it three shots if he even went in the year
Paul may have not brought a ton of wins to this team, but he's making me tear up right now..I'm happy that he' took us through the hard process of rebuilding the team, and us Kings fans will see him coaching running up and along the sidelines for us once again in SACRAMENTO.
Westphal is a total piece of shit jerkoff.

Kings fan from Pasadena, but I still feel bad for those from Sacramento.

"MALOOF SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT-
Catering To Customers" ......right behind Westphal's head as he's giving his farewell speech to Sacramento.
Oh, the irony.
