Tremor vs. Onyxia 10-man

Nicely done...in 4.3, 10man could probably be done with 3-5 decently geared 85s, right?

@PyromanicSai To be perfectly honest, the fight could possibly be done with 2-3 decently geared 85s. (1x Tank, 1x Healer, 1x DPS) I think it was even accomplished solo with a DK at one point in time, although I don't have the link for that video handy.

Ok very nice guide but I have 3 questions.

1. Priest's fear ward dissapears after 1 fear right? how do you survive the other fears?

2.Shaman's tremor totem has a limited range right? so should the Shaman put the tremor totem right beside the tank?

3.Who's tanking and killing the adds in P3?

1 & 2) Correct and correct. I use the human racial when it's up, or depend on the tremor totems of shamans. Shamans should generally plant their totems up near where the tanks stand.

3) Phase 3 should not spawn any additional adds. If there are any left over from Phase 2, then the off-tank should pick them up (or the Main Tank if you only have one), and killed immediately. Onyxia isn't going anywhere fast, so adds are more important.

Would you say that I would need more ranged dps or melee? Looks like ranged because of stage two. My guild is planning on doing Onyxia tomarrow.

Honestly, I say take a few more ranged classes than melee. :)

We used just a single tank for Onyxia. In 25-man you may very well need 2 tanks, depending on group make-up.

If you have a Shaman in group when would be the best time to use Heroism?

It really depends on your group make up, but I can safely say NOT during phase 1.

Use it:

-During Phase 2 if your raid is lacking enough ranged classes to help bring her down ASAP.

-During Phase 3 if you have sufficient ranged classes, in order to burn her down and avoid the fears/Eruptions as much as possible.

These are only suggestions, and each raid does it their own way. Good luck to you. :)
