@fluffy2700 1st, arabs wore the shemagh long before islam or any other religon dominated that reigon, so i would say its an equivalent of a cowboy hat or so on. now adays colors and styles differ from country to country or riegon to riegon, in UAE its mainly fashion, so you would wear what fits with your candora color wise. but certain parts such as big cities in KSA wear white or the more common red and white shemag and they wear it differently. it all dippends on where you are.

@PentagramSchematic go to madinat zayed souk, you will find blentty of shops and make sure they dont rip you off, look around first and bargin with them excesivly. and also pay attention to the size, there are two sizes a 55" and a shorter size, the one in the video is a 55".
