And buy a Big Block, bore it, stroke it, and install upgradeds, like racing cranks, heads, ETC. There is also the choice of Supercharging or turbocharging it, depending on style or taste. It also depends on what car or truck you going to use in the process, and what setup. What I'm trying to say is...there is a lot of variables.

@Tomthetoolman100 Gotta remember, Veyrons have emission controls, which rob the engine of a LOT of performance. If the Veyron's emission controls were removed I imagine it would have vastly more power, which is a scary but awesome thought.
Something else to consider - that's likely a 528 c.i.d. Hemi, not much smaller than the 596 c.i.d. V8s found in Top Fuel rails; those crank out over 8,000 hp (get rebuilt after every race though).

That looked to be either a 426 Hemi, 528 Hemi, even back in the 60's those where making 3000hp on nitro today theyre making 8-10k hp on nitro and people are able to get 1500-2000hp on the street with them on pump gas.

It was much more than just a case of de-tuning the race engine. A lot of the drag racers, before the famous 426, used the 392 Hemi out of the older Chrysler products. The old 300-series Chrysler used the 392 along with DeSoto and Dodge.
