Love the description :D Thank goodness you don't live in the USA like I do, or someone would have gotten sprayed and/or beaten and/or killed by police. They can get out of control, especially the New York Police Department. They're infamous, I'd say. I live in California, though, but people get shot with bean-bag guns and stuff. It seems like a divided justice system: if protesters were rich/famous, nobody would touch them. Like how murder suspect OJ Simpson got to volunteer himself to police.
A couple of tents really require all those Police? I haven't seen anything violent come from the Occupy Melbourne crew. The only violence was from the Police themselves!
