you should have played the intro on the sg has well. use the neck pickup with the volume turned down a bit and then switch to the bridge pickup with volume al the way up

allright, ok he only used a tele on stairway and the early albums and rarely ever used a tele on stage. he used his lps

he didnt use the tele because it couldn't deliver such a powerful tone live, that's why he used gibson's because they could be heard over other instruments very easily. plus his LP had a coil tap installed so he could get single coil sounds if he really needed.

Quite good tbh. But still alot of improvements 2 b made. Firstly practice it more so you dont have to stop inbetween some of the chords. Secondaly try and experiment with the tone on your sg and amplifier to find a more accurate sound. It wont be exactly the same ofcourse but you can get closer. And lastly you have a lot of it right but some bits are completely wrong (solo) sorry! But yeah, good effort

@rock2live2rock page used a les paul for this song live a couple times so i dont think its the make of the guitar, maybe just the settings/ but u are right about the fact that its not sharp enough.. it was a great cover though

@rock2live2rock This song was recorded on a Gibson by Led Zep so i'm not quite sure where the fender thing came into it for you. The amp settings could be adjusted a little to take the mud out of it but otherwise pretty good.

hey man really nice but when you play relax have fun your arm looks really stiff. try not to be perfect and hit every single note dead on just smack it around make it kinda your own. and especially in that solo you got to have a lot more feeling and emphasize some of those big notes. love the sg. rock on

hey man whats up?heres jus a little tip, when your strumming the strings, try to loosen up your grip on the pick and relax your hand. also use more of your wrist when strumming. it helps make it easier to pick faster instead of having a stiff arm when doing so. and so it could have a bit of a smoother flow when strumming. but aside from, great job. i still dont know the whole song and ive had more than enough time to learn it lol. keep it up. peace.
