I loved Santa Barbara! I remember this storyline too, one of MANY obstacles Cruz and Eden had to overcome before they finally got married. Keith Timmons was one of the most evil villains on daytime, and Elena Nikolas never really got her comeuppance for her dastardly deeds. I watched from 1984 to mid-1988. SoapNet needs to rebroadcast this fine show. This is a reminder of how good soaps used to be. I can't watch them now.
