  • omg!...your living my dream =( lucky bastard xP

  • nice ! how much the cockpit itself costs without wheel, pedals, shifters?

  • Ehh did you see my other video's? This one is 2 years old! So i know what you mean lol

  • @Splendiddddd i saw your latest video and very very nice. i just want actuator and frame ready setup instead of building one. can you tell me any website that i can buy??? by the way did you have any mechanical problem??? thanks

  • very nice rig.

Just a comment - remove the in game wheel and set your rig higher so you're more imersed into the view. Check my vids to see what I mean.

    Otherwise very cool rig mate.

  • Nice !!

  • haha its so nice too see.. "a hobby gone too far" wth man, you have fun! the distant day i may get the cash..guess what ill do? :) / see you on track (if you race gtr evo)

  • I race on evo a lot, look at my other (newer) vids...

  • How is the steering wheel mounted to the FREX cockpit?

I am thinking about getting just the cockpit but hate using clamps as they loosen up.

    Thanks

  • It fits very good, just clamped on it, tighten with tools though.

    never did come loose ;)

  • Lucky son of a bitch :D. How big is that TV?

  • 55 inch but i use a beamer now, its 100 inch ;)

  • Hey man thats excelent simracer.. can you tell me how much is the Simconmotion only?

And where can i buy it from?

    Please answer thanks

  • hey, im interested in buying this but i live in an apartment bldg and wanted to know how much noise this makes. Do you think that the motion will be heard by the tenants below me?

  • For the money that you spent on this setup, you can buy a real car and race it at circuitdays.

  • theres like 5 - 10k in this vid..

  • where do u even find stuff like this, where can i buy it? and how much?

  • Really like how clean and well structured you got it bro..cant wait till i get mine..

  • I prefer driving my real car.. but if you guys don't that ok.

    The economy needs retarded people.

  • Man... You don't have a point here!

There is no chosing between real car and sim rig... You get BOTH! That is like that.

If you can RACE you car wherever you want, good for you.

Otherwise, why not have fun RACING in the sim and also DRIVE you car around when you want? ;-)

    Grow up dude!

  • Lol learn english..

  • DutchManticore?

tell me...what do you spent your money on?

  • PC hardware.. mobile cellphones.. Electronics like TV's / Audio systems including MP3 players / my girlfriend.

And yes I know you are now just going to bitch about everything that I just mentioned...

  • lol why should i

...i like PC hardware and tv´s too...like the gear in the video ;)

  • Yeah but the good thing of a sim is that it's not real and you can do whatever you want, as many times you want. How many times have you raced your real car on Nurburgring? Imola? I am not saying forget real life, i am saying this is not pointless, it is plenty fun.

  • No sure ofcoures you're absolutely right.

Sorry that I was such a dick lol.

It's fun to do.. I was just bored and I wanted some easy fun. (Cq. making fun of people which pisses them off.)

    Sorry :)

  • Nice splen, till next time on laguna s.

    greetz sniff

  • and yeah btw...i placed a buttkicker gamer on my pedal rack (chassis)...and it works great in rFactor rally on pikes peak f.eks. going from road to gravel...

  • I've got one of those on my pedal rack too, agreed - its wicked on Leinz when you hit the village cobbled streets ;)

  • thx...

well im not sure about hydrobrake anymore because as they say it isnt really simulating anything from the game...but i thought it did and it would be worth ALOT if it did...but i reacts to a certain amount of pressure you set to what fits the car (as i understood it)

Well i going for a CLEAR VIEW out my front window...by moving speedometer, Rpm, gear indicator and so on from the screen out onto gauges and whatnot....

  • btw...

added you to my friendslist or what they call it here...and subscribed.

Nice to have a FREX friend to discuss it with.

And a Dutch one even ;-)...perfect... Holland is the next best thing ;-) LOL (seriously though)

    hope its ok!

  • Yeah ofcourse, simracing rules hehe

good luck with the adons, i think i want a hydrobrake system, but not sure...

    cheers

  • Oh mijn god :P

Nederlanders die weer ff laten zien dat het goed gaat met de nederlandse economie :D

    Whaha...

  • the GREAT thing actually (i think) is that it doesnt have to be assembled in a specific way.

Well ok, what connects to what and how is important obvious ... But where and in what angle can be tweaked and tried out in many combos ;-)

    GOTTA LOVE IT

  • Yeah if i count the tweaking you can add more then 50 hours to it hehe ;)I did swap my seat too, first had a playseat seat but that sucked, the sparco is so much better!

  • so true :)

And countless more to come hehe its great...

Is your seat a cup seat? or adjustable seat? I just bought the cheapest i could find back when i started on my cockpit project and its ok but since i cant use the adjustment anyways i think it would be better with a deeper cup seat (which also holds you more tight in the seat)...

  • Yeah its a cup seat, a sparco sprint, one of the cheapest sparco seat, watch out thought that you try the seat before buy, some are really small! Imo adjustable seat in not that good.

    cheers

  • Sparco seat and seatbelt added to the list hehe ... but first im getting the gauges, gear indicator and rpm with shiftlight from beta innovations...and then im almost done (lool NEVER...but for now).

    posting videos soon ;-)

  • LoooL i used 8 hours to...minimum...

But only on the SimCon Motion part (rear)because im integrating it into my homebuild cockpit that i have been working on/Playing on, off and on, for over a year know.

Been considering frex for 2 years now so when i finally bought it i was really patient with it already...

And i didnt really see the assembly as taking any time really...but the adjustments and tweaking did.

  • I did mine in 8 hours or so(did have a g25 not the frex wheel), its not that bad, and its worth it! good luck mate

  • got mine a couple of days ago.. looks like a bit of a mission to build!
