o.o i had that happen to me down in boston. exept the water was freezing because it was snow. melting snow. nudger and i were not to happy. (nudger is my dog)
Oh my gosh the same thing happened to us about 2 months ago, just the main line bursted. I woke up at about 3:30 am and the WHOLE house was in 3 in of water! They had to tear the carpets up and everything! Funny thing is the just now got finished!
Actually whenever your house floods you are supposed to turn off your electricity. Hundreds of people die a year from electric shock in flood related situations. Look it up bud!
had to move our furnature upstairs and I had to take this video for insurance reasons... By light switches I'm going to assume u mean outlets sence light switches are normally about 4ft up the wall, but no it wasn't dangerout because most houses now have surge protectors, and the water was only about 2 inches, outlets are about a foot up, a splash of water would not cause electricity to flow sence it needs a complete curcit, so yes your the onl y one to noice becase it was not logical
omg i am so sorry that sucks i hope ur alright now all i can sugesst is move to higher ground[i live on a hill so i dont get flooded my friend did though] or if u cant move sand bags to stop it happing again my heart goes out to u
ok before u start tellin me if im right or wrong, get the full story. my walls are all cut off from the floor up to 4 feet. we had 3 rooms with brand new flooring that all was destroyed. the master bathroom was just remodeled and it all has to be ripped out. we got brand new granit counters, and it cant be saved because all of out cabinets have to be ripped out. all our built in book shelves also have to be removed. so no... im not "egsaturating"...twat.
just cause i dont beilive you doesnt mean you have to call me a twat . . . :S and you use to me my favourite person on youtube and i told all my friends about you and alot of them subscribed but i dont know why i did cause your kinda mean :| all im saying is 100 grand sounds like alot and i dont really beilive you but now i do , but still :S
Really though, that sucks. Our old house flooded once, because of rain. We lucked out during Katrina though, Biloxi got a direct hit but my house had like zero damage.
my house was flooded about 1 foot

walking around barefoot in four inches of water flipping on light switches doesn't seem too safe. Am i the only one that noticed that?
