Inner Spain has some very unpopulated areas with wide landscapes and quite highlands at more than 1000 m above sea level. Cold winters, fresh summers, dry weather...

A nice place to build a nuke refuge.

I would recomend the north of Burgos, Palencia, Soria, León... then the mountains of Ávila, Salamanca, Teruel, Cuenca.

These are the best places to survive cause they are somekind of "forgotten" places where even you can hear the wolves at night
