  • Why are you using a Greek bouzouki to play Irish music should'nt you use an Irish version or is that one?

  • @RajGalani I'm just the one who posted the clip: bouzoukis were discovered by folk pioneers like Andy Irvine in his balcanic journies during the 70's and brought to Ireland. Irish lutiers modified the instrument (which was mainly used in Greece in virtuoso chromatic passages) to make it fit their trad music (mostly as an accompanying instrument like guitar). Some player however still prefers to stick to the original Greek bouzouki sound...
