OMG! Thank you Jadranko for uploading this. I haven't seen this footage in....well, since we made it. I was the interviewer, and this was one of my favorite 1-on-1's I've done. I can still remeber how scaptical me & my crew were going to the venue for the interview. Wish you could see the pics we made after the cameras were turned off - Heath was a joker and a gentleman at the same time. RIP.

He took drugs, sure, but its now known that he was battling primary insomnia for much of his later life. insomnia results in prefrontal glucose depletion reducing impulse control, leading to more drug abuse and hence in some cases more insomnia in a self perpetuating vicious spiral.

After knowing he had trouble with insomnia and barely getting any sleep, that part seems... I don't know... It's a little scary, I guess. Or maybe just sad. The insomnia was his downfall. He just needed sleep. I'm sure we've all had that experience every now and then of not being able to fall asleep and stay asleep for more than a few hours, but can you imagine that every night? It would be so hard.
I cannot ever possibly describe the emotions I feel watching and listening to him. He was always reflecting, so deeply. His strong sense of honesty causing him to bare his soul ... maybe that's the answer I've been wanting to find for myself .. he struggled so much in interviews, because of how Honest he was. He couldn't hide a thing, always bursting with inner energy and emotion his soul was so magnificent, always searching and seeking for Truth, his truth and the truth to this existence.
makes me feel like i am going to have a heart attack. I can't get over how he just looks at the interviewer when he says, "Where you out a little bit too late last night?" .... I just can't even.. does anyone else know what I'm talking about with that? deeply ... aaa Heath.

Great job by the interviewer.Heath absorbs the essence of the interviewer in my mind and out comes a reflection of how authentic he feels that person is.It shows in every interview I have watched of him. Heath comfort level is transparent - when he senses the interviewer's authenticity, honesty and thoughtfulness - he loses some of his discomfort and nervousness that crops up with an interviewer that doesn't provide that grounding or platform to express.

From his interviews, not just this one, but also the ones close to his death, you can see his struggling: his personal life was a mess while he had to deal with interviews, paparazzi...made him so exhausted. That's too much for a 28 old!!!

Heath has to be remembered as a Great man, A great man with a beautiful insight. He was just a normal guy who did his work, he wanted no extra's. He is probably one of the best young actors, I've ever seen. I blame god that he took him away from all of us, But I bless Heath, cause he is watching over us.

I don't think he committed suicide. Michelle said he had a sleeping problem. He took medication for it. His co actors from his last movie said he was displaying flu symptoms and they were working out in the cold in January of last year. I think he was having trouble sleeping that night and he took that on top of what he had earlier for his other problems. He also was found naked. Who sleeps naked in the dead of winter, sumone trying to find a way to sleep. That's what i think anyways

I disagree, and I'll tell you why. If one intends to commit suicide, they make sure they get the job done. They take as much as what is necessary to finish the job. The amount of drugs found in his system was not excessive. It amounted to one pill of each of the pills mentioned. The danger was the mixture. When I was sick with a horrible cough, the doctor prescribed hydrocodone and warned me not to take anything else with it. It depresses respiration. I think that's what happened to Heath.

I just think if he was serious, a man of his stature (size) would have take more pills. I think his insomnia also caused him to be stupid in how he helped it... one Ambien didn't work for him, so he took what did. Not being a doctor or a pharmacist, he was playing with fire.

It's so weird when his accent, at least to me, goes in & out. Most of the time I hear his (yummy) Aussie accent. But then other times, he almost sounds American. Especially when he lowers his voice. I'm not saying that I think his accent was fake, I just wonder if he picked up a bit of an American accent after all these years.

It was early in the morning and they both were tired so reporter wanted to make just a little morning chat and not the cold interview. No doubt he was nervous but as reporter said she was suprised to talk to such a kind person.
I always have to laugh when people say that he is talking in his "Joker voice" or that he "sounds like the Joker." He PLAYED the Joker, of course, the Joker's voice is going to sound like his.

I think he wore his hat in all these interviews and when he picked up the award for Kate Blanchat 'cause his hair was still green as he was still playing the joker role. I think he dressed like that so everyone would remember him and go see The Dark Knight. I wish he was still with us. He was so great. =(

I was refering to the interviews in this video clip(where the woman interviewer said she had a little voice telling her to go to bed....)there is more of them at springrose147. The other video was....Heath Ledger accepting award for cate blanchett(also at springrose147). Try to watch Heath Ledger Candid Clips. How he loved and hated the paparazzi. How they hounded him. I like seeing him in real life, but sorry that he couldn't just be left alone. Theres a couple clips w his friend Trevor.funny

Heath has to be remembered as a Great man, A great man with a beautiful insight. He was just a normal guy who did his work, he wanted no extra's. He is probably one of the best young actors, I've ever seen. I blame god that he took him away from all of us, But I bless Heath, cause he is watching over us.
I Remember him as a Great, and beautiful man, and I will not ever forget him.

for me its really weird watching his videos of all of his interviews and his movies, knowing hes no longer living. and knowing he died so young.

Mr. Ledger played perfectly well the joker because this caracter is a disturbed person exactly the way he felt that time. Oscar winner for sure. Unfortunately this good person had issues that conducted him to this fatal end.
He MUST be remembered as a state of the art professional and one more lesson to those who live on the edge.

I don't think he committed suicide. Michelle said he had a sleeping problem. He took medication for it. His co actors from his last movie said he was displaying flu symptoms and they were working out in the cold in January of last year. I think he was having trouble sleeping that night and he took that on top of what he had earlier for his other problems. He also was found naked. Who sleeps naked in the dead of winter, sumone trying to find a way to sleep. That's what i think anyways

I think the same thing but io have everybody..saying im a jerk off for saying this...who takes all theses pills and thinks they can live to tell the tail..i just finished reading the book..HEATH LEDGER HOOLYWOOD DARK STAR..and even they "say" he took his life but not in those words but you know what i mean..it still sucks both ways..he was an awesome actor...

I disagree, and I'll tell you why. If one intends to commit suicide, they make sure they get the job done. They take as much as what is necessary to finish the job. The amount of drugs found in his system was not excessive. It amounted to one pill of each of the pills mentioned. The danger was the mixture. When I was sick with a horrible cough, the doctor prescribed hydrocodone and warned me not to take anything else with it. It depresses respiration. I think that's what happened to Heath.

It's probably hard to know percentages, don't you think? It's really a thing that people are ashamed about after. I just think if he was serious, a man of his stature (size) would have take more pills. I think his insomnia also caused him to be stupid in how he helped it... one Ambien didn't work for him, so he took what did. Not being a doctor or a pharmacist, he was playing with fire.

ya he's sad it said a month before he broke up with michelle and he just finished the dark knight..he does look tired and sad..it sucks you know,,i just finished reading his book heath ledger hollywoods dark star, its really good but sad, the last chapter talks about how sad he was when he was filming DR.PARNASSUS. and how he missed his daughter, it sorta gives you the hint he took his own life?

I don't know if I'm gonna watch this interview. I meen I've seen it a couple of months ago, but I know it will make me cry now. It's tragic and so unfair... He was great actor and doting father. Yea I have that same voice"...its just sad b/c perhaps it shows us that he was having sleeping problems and was very tired..and than he died from an overdose of sleeping pills. =(...idk its just how I see it

It's so weird when his accent, at least to me, goes in & out. Most of the time I hear his (yummy) Aussie accent. But then other times, he almost sounds American. Especially when he lowers his voice. I'm not saying that I think his accent was fake, I just wonder if he picked up a bit of an American accent after all these years.

It was early in the morning and they both were tired so reporter wanted to make just a little morning chat and not the cold interview. No doubt he was nervous but as reporter said she was suprised to talk to such a kind person.
